There's a lot of us who want and deserve a different life than the one we're getting. And what kills me is that many of us aren't taking action to make that life happen. This week is pure tough love, plus motivation. It's followed by three action steps you can take toward reaching that life.

Ross Grant is #notperfect. He'll always admit that part.
But what he's especially vulnerable is how he spent his early 20s - drinking, going into work hungover, and hoping one day he'd just "make it" as an actor….
Fast forward to today: The guy runs an online acting community called Act on This TV with TON of hours of interviews with actors, agents, casting directors, and other receognizable names all across the UK entertainment industry. You can also find him on his vlog, #WatchRoss, as well as connect with his high performance mindset program for actors, "Bulletproof Actor."
Ross is a class act. It's my pleasure to introduce him to the #notperfect community here in the states.

I used to think being excellent was a good thing.
And then I read The Big Leap by Gay Hendrix.
All I'm saying is we need to raise our standards - even higher than we think. This week's podcast is going to give you a taste of the #NotPerfect Family, as you'll hear a clip from a call where I told group members why not live in your "zone of excellence."

I think sometimes we think the world is out to get us.
Which is silly. Y'all - the world only hates us if we tell ourselves that story, then look for evidence for it to be true.
Say it with me: It's. Not. True.
What is true is that there's a lot of people in the world who truly want to connect with us. The trick? We have to let them connect with us. Unfortunately, many of us have a wall up that prevents others from getting anywhere remotely close!
This week, I'm going to share with you a story of how a reeeeeally embarrassing moment actually let to a cool connection.
And I think you're gonna like it :)

What do shitty politicians, that one casting director who won't call you in, and all your haters have in common?
They're stopping you from reaching your goals.
....except it's not their fault. It's yours.
We all have a choice where we focus our energy. Are you focusing on the task....or are you looking at the noise?

Today's podcast is an interview with Chicago actor and fitness trainer Bobby Wilhelmson.
Bobby has been focusing on self care and improvement for the last 5 years and now wants to pay it forward by helping out anybody that needs it. Along with his wife, Jessi, he continues to stay motivated and hungry by applying what he's learned about health and fitness into his career as an actor. Ideas such as mindfulness, process-oriented mindsets, and investing in people has already started to get him results after just living 6 months in Chicago. More information about Bobby can be found at bobbywilhelmson.com.
Bobby is currently offering to work with Chicago based actors for a STEAL. Check him out at https://www.bobbywilhelmson.com/fitness
