Kevin Murdoch, Oak Bay Mayor, CRD Director joins the program to speak with Adam about the CRD providing a grant to Ukrainian Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island to help refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine. Mayor Murdoch notes that this initiative may be setting a precedent for the CRD Board but acknowledges that members felt determined to do more to offer support.

Brendon Ogmundson, Chief Economist, BC Real Estate Association (BCREA) chats with Adam about the rising of interest rates and inflation. Ogmundson notes than aspects of the 2022 Federal Budget plan are not going to have as much of an impact on the housing markets over the long term unless the supply can outweigh the demand.
