In 2013, Angela Duckworth coined the term Grit during a TED Talk.
In this episode, we explore what exactly it means to be gritty. Angela completed her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology at Harvard, she completed an MSc in Neuroscience from Oxford University, and completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. During her time at UPenn, she researched the psychology of highly successful individuals and found that they had two things in common: unusual resilience and work ethic (perseverance) and direction, having a deep knowledge of what they want (passion).

We are back!! We apologize for such a long break.
In the world of business, there are two types of companies. Those that go from zero to one and those that go from one to n. Peter Thiel is very familiar with starting zero to one businesses that are allowing society to vertically progress. These are the type of companies that defeat the competition and become monopolies... the good kind of monopolies.

This is our favorite book that we have reviewed so far. In this episode, we discuss that in order to be successful, the only thing that should matter is what you can control. Taking full responsibility for your life, only comparing yourself to yourself, and surrounding yourself with good people are some aspects in life you can control.
Rule #3: Make Friends with People Who Want the Best For You
Rule #4: Compare Yourself to Who You Were Yesterday, Not Who Someone Else is Today
Rule #5: Do Not Let Your Children Do Anything that Makes You Dislike Them
Rule #6: Set Your House in Perfect Order Before You Criticize the World
