Our caller, Tristan from South Florida, was recently heckled by a homeowner and asked to stop flying his drone near their house. As per the owner, because his house falls under HOA jurisdiction, Tristan has no right to take off, fly, and land his drone. Is this correct?

Certainly, the HOA or the Homeowner's association is responsible for the upkeep of all the properties that fall under its jurisdiction. But can the HOA exert right over airspace?
