On Sunday, December 3 the liturgical year begins anew with the first week of Advent. Our hope this Advent is that we might find ourselves with renewed excitement for the Lord’s arrival. Advent is a season of waiting, longing, and hoping for the coming of our God. It is a time to resist the urge to rush Christmas. It is a time to reflect on God’s Kingdom that is already and still yet to come. We hope that as you listen to the sermons, light Advent candles, participate in events like Advent Morning Prayer, and engage in the Advent Guides; God might open your eyes and ears to His Kingdom.
