She and her husband are full time travel- trainers teaching others through their website how to navigate the world with their smartphones. Scotland is a beautiful destination for a retirement trip and our guest Carol Sembach experienced it by hiking the West Highland Way. Carol , an adventurous hiker, tells us all about her wanderings and inspires us to get out into nature! Beautiful Scotland did not disappoint this hiker!

A retirement trip that many plan is a visit to one of our National Parks! The United States has 63 of these beauties all across our lands. Many are well known and visited by thousands of tourists each year while others remain somewhat more mysterious and uncharted. Cindy and Larry Lubinus have embraced retirement with enthusiasm and family. You can find this couple traveling to sporting activities for their grandchildren as well as planning trips to special destinations in their Class A motor home. But today, we talk to them about a special road trip they took to experience the colors and sites of the NE during peak leaf season. This is a trip and title I long to take...becoming an official "leaf peeper!"

We have found out in retirement that there are two types of travelers...one who plans the trips and one who encourages that planner! Curt is definitely the planner and I love being the encourager! However, planning trips can be stressful so many retired people use travel companies to help them take awesome adventures without the stress.  Today we talk to Kate Newland about her travel company and services.
