In today’s final hour, Dom previews what he believes will be the topic of discussion over the weekend and into next week, telling that he’s already hearing some debate around the debt ceiling. Then, Giordano asks for producer Dan to grade the new Republican Congress in their first week, also offering up his own grade of an A, telling why he believes the Freedom Caucus moved the ball forward a bit. Also, Dom returns to a topic featured heavily throughout the week, telling that on Monday, Springfield Township Commissioner Jim Lee will join to defend his stance against the thin blue line flag that has caused controversy within the town.

Then, Dom welcomes in President of the Catholic League Bill Donohue back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a column he penned that focuses on how parental rights are under fire by the Left. In the column, Donohue writes of a stealth campaign of individuals trying to sunder parental rights particularly when teaching lessons centered in gender and sexuality, providing examples of Left politicians openly stating their right to decide what’s taught to children. In both the column and the segment, Donohue argues that the indoctrination effort has gone too far and that children belong to parents, not the State.
