Alan Fishbone is the author of the new novel "Animal, Notes from the Labyrinth," published by Heresy Press. He was born and raised in New York City. He is a scholar and translator of ancient Greek and Latin and a professional sailboat captain. When not in New York, he lives aboard the cutter rigged sailboat Pelekun, usually to be found somewhere in the Western hemisphere.
We talk about his book Animal, as well as armageddons, Y2K, Bernard Moitessier, his other book Organ Grinder, memoir, themes of the book, aging, sailing, being an animal - or pretending not to be, and Alan reads from the book.
