Here's how I get new business ideas and test them for free... Most companies spend thousands of dollars testing stuff, here's how I find good business ideas and test them for free.

In this podcast I am going to talk about how to find out if your business idea is good. And I am also going to tell you exactly how to find good business ideas in general. So when I started my business 8 years ago, what I did is I went to companies and I offered them a service, just a random service that I came up with and I thought people would be interested in and I offered that.
Now, the ultimate proof always that a business idea is good is if you people give you money for it. That is the ultimate, ultimate proof. And that is the only proof that I am satisfied with.
However, in some cases if you need to invest a lot of money to make it a reality, it is a little bit harder to sell it before you have the money to invest, before you have the company set up, you need to do some kind of research. So, how do you do that?
There are multiple methods that are circulating, for example, customer service and going to people and asking them, would you buy this and so on. And what happens if you do that is you are generally speaking and I have tested that, you do not get very good replies.
What you get is people telling you what they think they should answer. So that is the first way, it’s definitely not my favorite. It has some benefits, but I do not like it very much.
The second way is to go to your superiors or people who run a bigger company in a different niche and you can ask them for advice. They run a different business, but they are still good at business. You can ask them for advice. They can give you some good advice, but here is the problem. They are disconnected from your audience.
They are disconnected from your market, they cannot connect and that means their advice is worth less. The third way is actually the good way. This worked amazingly well for me.
The third way is to go to peers. Peers who have already made it. Peers who are like just slightly ahead of me, one or two years ahead of me and who have made it in the same market, selling to the same people and selling the same thing and validate exactly what you are going to do and exactly what you are going to sell with them. And this works amazingly well.
They found that this is the best way to validate business ideas and ideas in general: creative ideas, art and so on. This is the best way to find out if your idea is good.
How do you find a business idea in general? In general if you are looking for a business idea and you do not have an idea already, then you can go and look at companies and see what they are already doing and try to improve it.
Instead of trying to find out your own business model, trying to create everything from scratch and being super creative, you go, get a working business model and improve upon it. That is the way to get the best idea for business. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

  • How To Increase Your Creativity - 3 Must Try Strategies - Improve Your Creativity
Check out my 3 favorite strategies to become more creative. Most likely at least one of them is brand new for you, so check out the podcast and let me know what you think.
“Want to connect on facebook? Add me on Facebook:

In this podcast I am going to talk about how you can become more creative, so that you can come up with better solutions for your business that are more innovative, better solutions for your life, so that your life is more interesting. What does creativity actually mean? What is creativity?
A lot of people think that people are born creative. You either a creative person or you are an analytical logical person. I happen to disagree with that. All of the books about psychology, everything that I have ever read has always thought me that this is a skills, it is a muscle that you develop.
When I stopped doing videos, for example, for a couple of weeks, which I have not done in a while, but once I did that I came back and I could not come up with topics anymore. That creative muscle, it is a muscle that you need to keep practicing it. If you don’t you are going to see the negative effect of it. But if you do there’s like unlimited possibilities of how creative you can really get.
So, what are some of the techniques that I found throughout the years by reading, implementing and running businesses that allowed me and people that I teach to become more creative. One of the first things that I learned is if I do not get enough sleep I cannot be creative.
My brain is just like mess, it’s like fuck and all the roads are blocked and I have to rely on my notes to do anything that is even remotely creative. So, lack of sleep, if you do not get 8 hours of sleep it kills your creativity. For me this is 100% the case. I know some people, they work the opposite. It is a very rare type of person. If you are that kind of person, congratulations. That is fantastic. But for me I either need to have a lot of adrenaline or I need to just be well rested.
The second tip I have for being more creative is procrastination. Now, procrastination can be good or bad. I know in a lot of my podcasts I talk how to beat procrastination, but procrastination is not automatically bad at all situations.
Here’s why. If you procrastinate a little bit what are you actually doing? You are actually getting stuck with that idea, with that process in your head for prolong period of time. And you know it is that slight nagging feeling and you know you have to finish this project, that you need to come up with an idea, that you need to find the solution and that nags on you.
What happens if you do this too much, if you do this with 10 different things at the same time, you will have a lot of stress, but if you do this with only one or two things, then what actually happens is, this is based on scientific research, your brain starts coming up with more solutions.
They actually did a scientific study and they found that people who procrastinate a little bit, people who procrastinate just a little bit that someone else and wait the last moment to do it, they actually come up with more creative solutions. This is because they have had a longer period of time to come up with solutions and they did not settle on the first idea that they got. There is a lot to be said for speed of implementation. There is a lot to be said for beating procrastination, but it can be useful sometimes.
For example, every time I go to do any kind of public speaking I tend to prepare last minute and I think about the live speaking event for a long time. I keep thinking about it, I keep stressing about it. But I do not obsess over to the point where that is the only thing that I am doing. At the same time I am focused mostly on that: “well procrastinating”.

In this podcast I am going to talk about how to sell anything to anybody.
When I started my business 8 years ago used to be that to learn sale you pretty much have to do cold calling in the beginning, because it cost a lot of money to get into any kind of marketing like getting into newspapers, getting your banners on the website and it was really complicated. I couldn’t get into that.
So, instead of that I got into cold calling and that is how I learned sales. Before I continue on what I recommend now let me just say that cold calling is amazing. It is a very good way of learning sales and pretty hard core as well. It is not easy, but it is totally worth it and all of you guys doing cold calling, keep going, keep doing it. It is fucking awesome.
But let’s talk how to sell anything now and make money a little bit faster than with cold calling and learn it a little bit faster than with cold calling. So, just about anyone now with very basic skills and I do not say that lightly. I know that a lot of marketers say: “Anyone can do this”. But now it is actually true. You can get inbound leads.
That means people coming to you and asking you to buy stuff. It is much easier now than it was even one year ago. That is because Facebook is making stuff easier. And other networking sites for entrepreneurs like Upwork, Linkedin and so on make it very, very easy to connect with entrepreneurs and with people looking for a service.
Another thing that is happening is a lot of people are getting into the entrepreneurship market. That means a lot of people are looking for services that are suitable for beginner entrepreneurs. This is very good for us. If you learn sales you can sell almost anything to anyone as long as you can get them to come to you and ask you to buy from you basically.
Now, this does not mean that they come baring a credit card, you still have to actually close them. But let me just explain the process a little bit better. So, the first thing you need to know is how to get the traffic and the leads and of course the focus is not so much on the traffic, but on the leads.
My favorite way is to use social media, making videos and going on Upwork, Linkedin and so on. And contacting people and putting content out there and having them message me and ask me for services. Now, when this happened it is much easier than when you cold call someone. You interrupt him and he’s like: “Who are you? I do not need anything. Leave me alone”. It becomes a lot easier to close a sale.
You are not dealing with people rejecting you as much, which is good, because you save time. However calls take longer than a cold call on average, but that is fine, because I have found that you are able to and everyone I have worked with is able to make much more money with inbound compared to outbound.
So, to summarize the first thing that you need is the traffic and leads. The second thing that you need is to have a decent sales process. I explain this in other podcasts , but you need to have a sales process that is focused on the emotional decision that people are going to make when they are buying from you. I will link to another podcast where I explain this process. I have done this a couple of months ago.

In this podcast I am going to talk about how to make money online while travelling. Why am I qualified to talk about this? I have been travelling for 5 years and I have thought hundreds of others how to do the same. I have been to 35 countries while running a business online and making money online. So, most people think that if you want to travel and make money online you can get jobs locally like bartending and that kind of stuff. Now, here is the problem with that.
If you go somewhere, usually you are going to go to Thailand, Spain. In these countries people do not get paid that much money. So, you are not going to be paid that much money, you are going to be kind of a poor backpacker if you decide to do that. And you need to speak whatever local languages. Sometimes English is enough, but usually it is not and you need to speak local language, because you need to get, for example, if you are doing club promotion you have to speak to everyone. Otherwise you do not make that much money.
Another solution that other people use is to become an English teacher or in certain language teacher in other countries. This works especially well in South-East Asia. I have a friend Alex. He does this stuff. This works. It is fantastic, but you are kind of stuck in one location, because you get hired by one school. They pay a couple of hundred thousand dollars per month. It is ok. But it is not great.
However, I found that the best way to make money online while travelling is to build an online business. You can start with just freelancing. You can go to upwork.com and websites like freelancer.com and apply to online projects and get the project and you get paid for projects when you deliver them.
This can be translation if you know two languages for example. Or if you know websites, you can sell websites. If you know Facebook adds, you can sell Facebook adds. You can learn all these things. It is not that hard. It takes a couple of weeks of really concentrated studying to learn it. And then you can become a freelancer basically. As long as you get the people from Upwork on the phone call and then you close sales. That is how everyone does these days.
So, freelancing is great and it is a good place to get started, but eventually you want to upgrade and turn it into an actual business, where you are not the only one doing all the work. You can hire people from India, from Philipines and so on. You pay them 5, 8, 3 dollars per hour and they do a lot of the work for you. So, you are not just an employee, doing all of the work managing projects and so on. You have people who deliver the projects, you have people who help you with sales or even close sales. Get people help you manage the projects and whatever else you need. You can outsource just everything these days.
You can go to the same websites like Upwork.com to find people to outsource too. Now, this is all great and it works fantastically well.
However, you can not run a business and you cannot make money online if you do not have your life handled, like your life situation. If you are a backpacker and you are staying in hostels and you are always travelling every week, that does not work. You cannot run a successful business like that. There is no passive income. You have to spend the majority of your time working, but that is fine, because you are travelling and you can spend a lot of time going around and climbing mountains, going on trips and so on. So what is the solution for the living situations.
