Are you feeling stuck or is your to-do list growing? We start this episode with some strategies to tackle those things you keep putting off. You can find a great recap on this post from our instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CSR_hkyFfqD/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Next, we revisit our conversation with journalist Alicia Menendez discussing her book, “The Likeability Trap: How to Break Free and Succeed as You Are.” Alicia Menendez is an MSNBC anchor, she’s a contributing editor at Bustle, and the host of the Latina to Latina podcast. Alicia spoke to us earlier during an event we hosted to mark Women’s History Month and to explore some of the barriers that women continue to face like racial and gender bias, and in many cases, homophobia.
Our event with Alicia is an example of the conversations we host completely free.If you want to support our work, please consider a contribution to help us kee bringing you these great conversations: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/tamarindopodcast1
Note: We mention the greatest gymnast of all time, Simone Biles, who at the time of the recording had withdrawn from some of her competitions in Tokyo2020. However, after the recording of this episode, she did compete in the Women’s Balance Beam earning a Bronze medal. We celebrate and honor her decision to value her mental health and well-being and for being a role model for us all.
