The Case Against Adnan Syed is a 2019 true-crime docuseries about Adnan Syed's (later vacated) murder conviction for the killing of Hae Min Lee. Alissa has dug into the case and demands justice for Hae Min Lee.

Alissa Fleck is an independent investigative journalist living in NYC. She holds a bachelor’s from Grinnell College, a master’s in creative writing from The New School and an advanced post-bacc certificate in criminal investigation from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). In addition to her reporting, she volunteers with a PI organization that fights child trafficking.

Alissa has written for more than 25 publications, both print and online, and both as a freelancer and as part of a newsroom team. While she has covered a wide variety of beats, Alissa now primarily investigates and writes features about issues of social, criminal and financial justice. She also blogs about specific investigations.
