Hi fam! Show notes below are a collection of our ramblings and planning for this episode. There's a lot to get through so we won't be providing links but hopefully product names will help you find things :)
Bridie:
Gift for my mum: loves homewares, is about to build their dream home on the water, loves cooking (not baking) and enjoys a nightly wine 👏🏼💞
> The book I mentioned this week! Julia butilli nushimuri cookbook. Get her a little hamper and wrap it in a basket from target which will be gorg and helpful for her home. Add some fancy olive oil, rock salt…I say this every time but the zalto wine glasses - always get comments on mine.
>A cute kitchen book stand to go with the book ^^ (fog linen work brass bookstand)
> Byredo or similar hand wash and cream set for new house. (Aesop, grown alchemist)
Jess:
Hi ladies 🤗 I need a present for my mum. She likes gardening, is obsessed with her two dogs and her and my dad recently got a caravan to go adventuring in. She isn’t really into make up or skin care (I’ve tried). She is a bargain hunter and doesn’t really go for high end stuff. She does love a nice perfume tho, she currently wears Si. I usually buy on behalf of me and my useless brothers and spend $250-$300.
Any recommendations would be appreciated 😇
This excites me. Can she adopt all my future dogs too?
> Camper chair the internet and Brenton tell me expensive is good, wanderer looks like a good brand -
Wanderer Moon Quad Fold Chair
> Not sure of the calibre of the camper van but maybe a nice hot plate or heater?
> Jaffle iron maker
> The clay collection do the chicest personalised dog bowls
> Also MERRY PEOPLE GUM BOOTS can’t say it enough. And has she got a good puffer and or wet weather jacket like gortex vibes
> Would she like Gucci bloom? Or jo Malone?
Kaye:
Desperately need ideas for my mum pls - very minimally interested in make up / skincare (think moisturiser, powder and brow pencil only 😂). Hates the idea of buying anything expensive. Works in finance. Loves crafty things like cross stitching and knitting. $50 budget just to give her a little treat. Now that i’m typing this, can you say: Vanilla 😂😂😂 Love her tho hahaha
> Would she like the journey of something puzzles? She could then frame it?
>Wool and gatherer do punch needle kits for 58 bucks with free shipping and punch needle is cool and trenday
> Beeswax wrap sets! Fun crafty and sustainable

“High flying executive mum who spends 2 working weeks out of the month in Perth. Sensitive skin, likes natural skincare. Obsessed with tea, cooking and animals”
> Marrimeko mug.
> A donation to an animal charity on her behalf. Nigella cook book.
> Josh rosebrook hydrating mist or mask, both nice for water loss as a result of flying and natural and bougey.
> Japanese cross back linen apron from made and more currently on sale. I don’t wear any of my other aprons cause they’re too hard to put on lol this is superior.
> Some Robert Gordon pottery or I just got the cake stand?
