In the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, December 1st, we have a New Moon revealing its mysterious face in Sagittarius. Here, as we gather around the fire of the heart, we listen for the story of our lives.

Opportunistic, Idealistic, and hopeful - this Sag New Moon asks us to consider what truly feels meaningful to us. To feed the fire of the spirit, sometimes we must pause to consider the BIG questions about our life... Not expecting any answers ;)

I LOVE Sagittarian energy. It is a refreshing breath of perspective, amidst a world that is often too caught up in the mundane to bother with Life’s muchness. Sagittarius looks towards the great horizon, a Hawk flying into the sunset, towards the great unknown with eyes on fire. In this, there is a prayer for what could be, and a knowing that IT IS SO.

The courage of Sagittarius is not only in daring to Dream, but in BELIEVING in the dream itself. Knowing that what we put our HEART into, matters. The energy behind it is the force of magnetism that brings opportunities towards us. The trust that the Universe is INDEED conspiring WITH us, and that our will is an unshakeable force of devotion embodied.

Sagittarius wants us to be ALL IN. Into our lives, our work, our play — whatever it is that makes life meaningful to us. To be ALL IN, and crazy in love with the dream itself, is to participate in the cocreative act of life unfolding. It’s between you and the divine — your heart is the compass.

May the New Moon be sweet to you. I feel as if its a tender moment of heartening hope, a reminder of our potential to live the life we dream of. We are the author of our story — at the end of the day, it’s up to us how we want to tell it. It comes down to our beliefs about the world, and our orientation towards life itself.

Okay family, the moment has finally arrived. On November 19th, Pluto will enter Aquarius + never look back. A generational milestone, a moment that will usher us into a whole new collective paradigm.

This is BIG. I know Astrologers have been talking about this for literally the entire year, but if that’s any indication, this is a huge moment for the collective fabric of reality. A whole new energetic frequency making its way through the tapestry, that will change our foundations forever.

The last time Pluto was in Aquarius, we had MULTIPLE revolutions take place across the world. There is no coincidence here, that after Capricorn creates structure that may or may not support collective care, Aquarius comes along to reshape them. Revolution is a love language in the name of collective vitality. Here we are at the doorway.

Pluto will remain in Aquarius until 2043, REDEFINING the territory of our lives that Aquarius rules. I want to acknowledge that I recorded this podcast on Nov 4, the day before our World shifted. I debated on whether or not to record an entirely new episode to address all that's stirring, but I also feel that much of the Astrology of this week speaks for itself. AND - there's so much more here than the Astrology alone. Perhaps I'll speak on that more next week as things settle.

I am not here to tell you that the Astrology predicted this. It’s not helpful, and wouldn’t be honest. I’m here to look together at the tools we have in our very own hands, that could possibly point us in the direction of movement towards collective liberation.

I believe Astrology is one of those tools, but it is NOT the only one. And without frameworks that actually improve our ability to collaborate with one another in real life, it is insufficient as a guiding principle.

In this space, I speak of planets + stars — lest we not forget these celestial bodies are Record Keepers, same as our own. If we track the patterns, perhaps they hold some wisdom for us. But it is merely a mirror to reflect back what we hold within ourselves. What the bones know. What our Ancestors have been preparing us for, for Hundreds of Generations. True Revolution.

This is the Age of Aquarius after all ;) — and when Pluto enters Aquarius on Nov 19th for nearly the next two decades, pray we take it as an invitation to take action that will change the world. We were built for these times, my friend. We are Warriors of the Heart.

I know you’re tired. I know we’re weary; we don’t need another hype-beast activist pep talk. Take time to rest. Move slowly, be gentle with yourselves and one another.

And when it’s time, look to those right next to you, and find ways to collaborate. Yes, with those that share the same beliefs with you, and perhaps even with those that don’t.

MAY WE NOT GET SO CAUGHT UP FIGHTING AMIDST OURSELVES, THAT WE FORGET TO LOOK UP & SEE THE SYSTEMS THAT HAVE BEEN CREATED TO DO EXACTLY THIS; TO DIVIDE US & SET US AGAINST ONE ANOTHER LIKE HOUNDS THAT WILL DO THEIR WORK FOR THEM; TEARING ONE ANOTHER TO SHREDS.

Mars is now in Leo. The Heart of the Warrior, in devotion to what it cares about most of all. This world needs Warriors of the Heart right now, most of all.

Hey y’all — I hope you’ve been enjoying the season’s Ancestral blessings and keeping your people close. It’ll likely pay off in the year to come! 2025 is already feeling like a big paradigm shift as I tune in.

This week literally starts off with a BANG! Our first peak Mars-Pluto Opposition occurs on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024. This will be the first in a sequence of THREE oppositions occurring between now and April 2025. In other words, we have entered a powerful portal of Regeneration — and intensity. A story is unfolding, the end as a beginning. Here, we stand at the threshold of immense change.

Peak Opposition dates: Nov 3rd, 2024 / Jan 1st, 2025 / April 27th, 2025.

Mars teaches us how to take action in the world, ideally from an embodied, agentic place. The shadow of Mars is violence, domination, and lack of intention before action. The beauty of Mars is that it reminds us of the importance of how to fight for what we believe in, literally + figuratively. It connects us to the power of our rage as a force that MOBILIZES us. It is the Fire element, embodied. Sharp, pointed, direct + alchemical.

Pluto is the bringer of death processes, revelation + transformation that is REQUIRED to give way to new life. Pluto is the one who pulls out the rotting tooth, as painful as it might be to do — only to remind us of the relief that comes when we finally let s**t go. Regeneration, for real.

Pluto will be sitting on the other side of the sky, in a full-on showdown with Mars. We on Earth will be front and center, the apex of the tension hitting us at home. Think eyes-locked, pokemon style showdown between two powerhouse planets.

Mars will be in Cancer, opposite Pluto in Capricorn - both at the Aneuretic degree of 29* — the point of ultimate culmination for a planet in a zodiac sign. This is an ending, a breakthrough that breaks us OPEN into new layers of action + CHANGE.

It is not lost on me that this is all occurring in the midst of Voting season, in the US. Just sayin’. The data reveals itself in the lived experience — this is not trivial timing.

Tension that breaks something wide open, so truth can be revealed. Truth gives way to transformation, which begets liberation. May we be prepared to die unto the old ways, so that we may bring forth new ones.

Ahh yes, spooky season. Perhaps most magickal time of year, especially if you identify as “wicce”, or wise person, from the original use of the word. The veil is thinning, the doors to the otherworld are open, and we are surrounded by the closeness of our more-than-human kin.

This time of year is very dear to me. It is a time when Ancestral Veneration + Ceremonial Celebrations of the dead are widely practiced, across cultures worldwide. This is something I’ve come to practice year-round, however I can feel the potency of this Samhain season + the closeness of our beloved dead kin.

This year, the Celtic celebration we know as Samhain coincides with the Scorpio New Moon, on November 1st at 8:47am EST. The next day is Día de los muertos. There is much to celebrate, as a way of honoring life and the people we come from.

Death is a doorway, not so much a finale. What carries on beyond life is our memory. The bones carry memory; in our own bodies, we remember where + who we come from. What is a truly death if not forgetting? What is dead may never die.

At its essence, the celebration of the dead is one of Re-membering. Putting back together the stories that have made us who we are, the lineages that have survived and sacrificed so much so that we can even exist. Honoring those that came before us, to venerate their spirits and support them in becoming healthy, vibrant ancestors.

They are our allies, our guides and protectors in places seen + unseen. The kinship of our Ancestors is Birthright; it is a form of belonging that goes deeper than anything else. Our Ancestors are our clan, our tribe, our identity. The lands we come from are our Ancestors, too. The word Ancestor is expansive, magical, primordial remembrance; it goes beyond just our grandparents + immediate known family.

There is no right or wrong way to celebrate this time. The point is remembrance. Some suggestions here as reference; but trust your heart’s intuition, as that’s likely indicative of how YOUR people want to connect with you. No matter where on Earth you come from, your people did (and potentially still do) practice some sort of Ancestral Veneration rituals, to honor the dead. This interdependence never dies.

Ahhh yes, my favorite time of year again. *Stretches out Bat wings* … SCORPIO SEASON! All the good ghoulies are out, and the Sun begins its journey of illuminating that which has been waiting in the shadows, all year long.

In my experience, Scorpio is one of the most understood signs. Above all else, when I share Astrological readings with folks who have Scorpio Suns, their most frequent reflection is how others raise an eyebrow or IMMEDIATELY judge them. It’s so sad to me, that pop-culture Astrology has *quite literally* demonized this sign.

And, I get it. A Fixed Water sign, ruled by Mars? Quite a complicated mixture. Scorpio’s sharp, penetrating gaze + capacity to hold such depth and complexity is a gift many don’t fully understand. Perhaps the Scorpionic willingness to look at that which has been rejected or exiled into the shadows makes folks uncomfortable. Perhaps Scorpio’s comfortability with the taboo confronts other people’s unwillingness to turn towards the full spectrum of what this life experience really asks of us. To hold it all. To LOVE that which lives into the shadows just as much as we love that which finds ease in the daylight.

As a Scorpio Rising person myself, I can attest to the directness of that penetrating gaze causing others to (sometimes) crawl out of their skin. I’ve learned the hard way, many times, that just because REVEALMENT has been good medicine for me, doesn’t always mean others are as ready + willing to turn towards the shadows with such ease. I’m not flexing here — I also recognize that Scorpio energy tends to inhabit the shadowy s**t more than they’re comfortable with the light-hearted + gentle. It’s a careful line to toe.

Two words I think about a LOT with Scorpio, are “revealment” and “penetrating”. Mars rules pointy things, and in Scorpio, that power is pointed downwards. It penetrates deep beneath the surface of our conscious, superficial reality. The function of Scorpio energy in all of our lives is to reveal that which is otherwise concealed into the shadows of the unconscious, on purpose. The point is to set those things free, so they don’t fester + grow into monsters.

And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

All of this to say, Scorpio season is a time when the light of the Sun descends into the shadows of our own personal + collective Underworld, ON PURPOSE. This is a time when the veil is particularly thin, as we are fully inhabiting the dual nature. We all have this capacity, to move between seen + unseen, conscious + unconscious. Scorpio brings it out in us all. It teaches us how to see in the dark.

Look to where Scorpio rules in your Birth Chart. This is where the lantern is guiding you into hidden corners. This is where unconscious material is becoming conscious, transforming from reactive forces into active powers you can engage with + have choice around. This is the true work of Liberation; THE TRUTH SETS US FREE.

This week brings our first lunation after the clearing of Eclipse Season -- a Full Moon in Aries on Thursday, October 17th at 7:26am EST. This is also the first Full Moon we've had in Aries that HASN'T been an eclipse in over a year.

The moment presents an opportunity to truly hit the refresh button in the Aries domain of our charts, and celebrate the ways we've learned SO much from that territory over the past two years. Celebrating the ways you've Self-advocated, set clearer boundaries, and cultivated deeper trust with your Self are key themes.

Pluto is now direct in Capricorn, truly bringing a grand finale of closure to this territory after almost 18 years of excavation. This is the last time Pluto will be in Capricorn for our entire lifetime. It will enter Aquarius for REAL on November 19th, and never look back. This next month is a great opportunity to consider what closure looks like for that arena of your life, once and for all.

Mars is in its pre-retrograde shadow, which means we will revisit the territory its currently traversing later on this Winter. Pay attention to how you're using your energy, and what feels particularly sticky - especially in the house Cancer rules in your birth chart. You will come back to this topic a few months from now, with a clearer sense of new ways to move in your life.

And also, the collective waters are churning, quite literally + figuratively. May we all be kind to one another as we maneuver what is a BIG + transformative threshold. We have a Grand Water Trine being initiated by the ruler of last week's Eclipse -- Venus in Scorpio. As the Dark Goddess dances with Saturn in Pisces & Mars in Cancer, we're invited to tend to the waters within, and all the emotions they're likely still digesting.

I speak about the Myth of the Minotaur as a mirror for Venus' process in Scorpio, and touch on Jupiters upcoming Retrograde in Gemini as an ode to the collective need for mitigating information overwhelm. There's some clear collective tending we're being initiated into for the rest of the month.

For the past year, we’ve been cycling thru Eclipses on the Aries-Libra axis. If you’ve been here awhile, you’re probably already aware that this week brings our LAST eclipse in Libra on this side of the axis. The South Node has been threshing this territory, supporting us in releasing old patterns of fawning, self-abandonment, and people-pleasing on behalf of “keeping the peace”.

Libra knows that relationship requires skillfulness. It requires our ability to hold multiple realities at once, without negating one on behalf of another. True Justice requires our capacity to hold the full nuance + complexity of this human experience.

The final eclipse in Libra is October 2nd at 2:49pm EST.

This Eclipse is a grand finale, a final bow. An offering of old stories, patterns + beliefs in the Libra part of our chart, so that we may learn how to hold ourselves in new ways as we relate to a world that NEEDS us to have a voice.

Lilith is exactly conjunct this Eclipse, bringing an edge of confrontation to the ways we give our power away on behalf of conventionality. Lilith would rather be CAST OUT of the Garden than oppressed and diminished for the power of Man. And so, she is the Guardian of the fringes, the Mother of all our exiled parts; within ourselves, and in the collective reality. May her company give us courage to keep our heart open, and still hold true to our own virtue.
