Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr discuss rumors they are hearing from sources they believe are trustworthy about Mayor Perkins being given special treatment by the Shreveport Police. They are concerned because they are not under the impression Shreveport City Council members or Shreveport residents are receiving the same special treatment.

Since Shreveport is boarding up statues which some people find offend, should we add the statue of “Lead Belly” to the project list? Huddie Ledbetter (“Lead Belly”) was a successful black musician whose songs include “Goodnight, Irene”, “Midnight Special”, “Cotten Fields, and “Boll Weevil”. Louis explains.

Our @American Mamas, Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur, are very upset over the ambush murder of Jessica Doty-Whitaker, age 24 and mother of a 3-year old boy, because she asserted her belief that “all lives matter” to a group of BLM supporters in Indianapolis, IN. She was shot in the back as she passed by. Her murderer is still at large.

After explaining that Alex J. Washington of the law firm, Washington & Wells, has agreed to suspension of his law license for one year and one day because of problems involving the handling of client money by a subordinate of his, Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr wonder if the law firm of Washington & Wells should continue as the law firm handling Shreveport’s bond issuances.

Stephen and Louis also talk about how other nations have already opened their schools. They look at the data from these schools and conclude children, especially under the age of 10, are not likely going to be getting and spreading COVID-19.

Ivanka Trump, along with Apple and IBM, to promote looking for career fields that do not require a college education. They are doing this through the website www.findsomethingnew.org . Stephen Parr likes this program because it shows there is more than one way to achieve the American Dream.

And very importantly, Stephen provides a tribute to Louis "Luigi" Avallone, Louis’ father who passed away this week.

Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr explain how all of the requirements to wear masks, including Louisiana, Caddo Parish, and Shreveport directives, create an unconstitutional violation of The Right to Privacy, specifically HIPAA. Mayor Perkins understands medical privacy as it pertains to him because he has refused to disclose what his medical condition is for his military medical disability….but yet he apparently is disregarding that same Right for residents of Shreveport.

Louis and Stephen continue talking about the Constitutionality of the Right to Privacy. The elected officials who are imposing these requirements probably know what they are doing is not constitutional, and they probably do not care. It probably will take years for all the possible law suits to make their way up the chain of Federal Courts to the US Supreme Court. If the Government cannot do something legally, the question really is “should they be doing it at all”?

Stephen and Louis look at data regarding the trend in jobs which are disappearing in the United States. Company consolidation and technology are partly the reasons. They include Office Administration Support, telephone operators, transcription services, musical directors and composers, telemarketers (if you can believe that!), and in Louisiana, operations research analyst.

Friedrich August von Hayek won the Nobel Prize in 1974 for Economics. His work in economics was so substantial that President Reagan said this man inspired him. Von Hayek was warning that the Social Sciences cannot be treated in the same way as the Physical Sciences. That is because there are always going to be critical, unknown variables in the Social Sciences. That is what has been going on today with COVID-19, and look what has happened.

Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr talk about how Mayor Perkins is not having a good week. Judge Craig Marcotte issued a temporary restraining order stopping any enforcement, any searches of businesses, or taking any action against Shreveport businesses in regards to Mayor Perkins’ mask order.

Houston's Mayor Turner, a Democrat, allowed 60,000 protesters to assemble on three different occasions without any protections for COVID; but he canceled the long scheduled Texas GOP convention in the same general area of Houston just 5 days before it was to start! Only 6,000 people were to be attending.

Our American Mamas, Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur, talks about a mom, with a child in her car, called 911 because Black Lives Matters protesters were blocking the road and jumping on her car. The Fredericksburg, Virginia 911 operator told her to contact City Hall because the police could not help her. When the public found out about it, City Hall started getting calls!

The City of Seattle held a racial training seminar for its White Employees Only! Astoundingly, such an action is a direct violation of the Civil Rights Act. No employer can base any decisions upon the color of one’s skin. Because Christopher F. Rufo, a documentary film maker and investigative journalist, got ahold of a copy of the materials and shared them on Twitter, Stephen is able to share what was “taught” as well.

Even thought the Caddo Parrish Commission voted to require everyone to wear masks inside all businesses, the ordinance does not site any legal authority that they might have to do this. Even worse, an anonymous complaint can shut down businesses, which also violates the US Constitution. Furthermore, the fines are in violation of the charter, as well, because they exceed the Charter limits.

Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr continue to discuss the Caddo Parish Mask Ordinance just passed. Somewhat reminiscent of the old German Nazi “brown shirts”, the Caddo Parish now can bypass the Sheriff’s office and legally required due process because they now can hire and use roving “rent-a-cop” militias to enforce the mask ordinance.

Louis and Stephen visit with Celeste Tatum, owners of Strawn’s Eat Shop Too, about why she had to go backwards to “take out only” as a result of Mayor Perkin’s new mask proclamation. This is severely hurting her business. She is keeping her restaurant closed to sit-down customers because she cannot risk her business license over some random person anonymous reporting something she has no control over.

Stephen shares a not-well-known history about Teddy Roosevelt and how he repeatedly chose those he supported and gave jobs to based upon the content of their character, regardless of their skin color, a long time before it was considered socially acceptable to do so. But ignorant radicals are wanting to tear down his statue.

Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr discuss the legal ramifications of Mayor Perkins’ face mask proclamation. It looks like Perkins is violating both the City Charter and Louisiana Law. Furthermore, what legal protections do the residents of Shreveport have in this power overreach? Is there even a concept of due process for this “new’ crime for not wearing masks?

It does not appear Mayor Perkins has the authority to declare a medical emergency as that belongs exclusively to the Shreveport City Council per the City Charter. It doesn’t appear Perkins has the authority create either a new crime nor the punishment for that new crime. Look them up and read them for yourself. Louis and Stephen talk with Danny McCormick about how Democrats are using fear and emotion, rather than logic and reason, to govern. Gov. Edwards and local officials are making decisions which are destroying businesses and livelihoods, and are forcing people to die alone because family members are not permitted to be with them. He said that when you are engaging in such destructive behavior, it should not surprise anyone that they are now trying to make people who don’t want to wear a mask become the villains.

On July 8, 1775, the Colonies sent The Olive Branch Petition to King George III in England, hoping to obtain peace with King George III, but it was refused. Instead King George III declared the Colonies as being in open rebellion. The Declaration of Independence was then signed on July 4, 1776. The relationship to today’s events is the Republicans in the Louisiana Legislature could end the lockdowns with their own petition which only needs a few more signatures. Why is it not happening?

Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr are very concerned about the way the Democrat Party and its radical leftist supporters have been behaving. It is ignoring horrible factual statistics about black on black crime, shootings every weekend in its big cities, and trying to wipe out all elements of history related to the Confederacy, the KKK, and Jim Crow. Are they really going to tear down every American Statue the same way ISIS tore down every Roman statue when they went into Syria?

Louis and Stephen are very concerned about what Mayor Perkins has done to every Shreveport business with his proclamation requiring businesses to require all customers to wear masks. Even Governor Edwards said he was not willing to go that far. There is reason to wonder if this proclamation is even legal.

Do masks work? Not really. A study published on April 9th by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine says ”There is little evidence regarding the transmission of small aerosolized particulates of the size potentially exhaled by asymptomatic or presymptomatic individuals with COVID-19.” Especially useless are homemade masks, which we have been told we can use, because astoundingly 99.3% of particles that size get through a homemade mask!

Congressman Mike Johnson is on the phone with Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr to talk about what he believes Makes America Great! He explains why the self-evident truths in the Declaration of Independence is fundamental to what makes us such a great nation.

Mayor Perkins is outsourcing tyranny to Shreveport’s businesses, and because he is a Harvard Law Graduate, he clearly should know better. How? He has come up with a manipulative way to force businesses to force their customers to wear masks, because it is unconstitutional for him to force it directly. This will be effective until the end of the day on August 8, 2020.

Our American Mamas, Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur, are extremely upset over the murders of our children, both locally and across the Nation, and no one seems to care. Pay attention people! Black Lives Matters (spelled with capitals) is not concerned about people’s lives. If they were, they would be protesting the black on black murders in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and elsewhere. BLM (with capitals) is a subversive political movement. ONLY when spelled with little letters can you say “black lives matter”.

Stephen Parr and Louis Avallone are very concerned about shootings and murders being substantially up in so many of our big, Democrat controlled cities. Before the George Floyd death, shootings and homicides had been going down this year. Louis says it feels like all the violence and community disruption was planned, rather than spontaneous. Because of lack of support from Democrat elected officials, the police are giving up and so many are retiring as fast as they can. Others are looking for other lines of work.

President Trump’s 4th of July speech at Mount Rushmore included a lot of US History, perhaps more than some Americans have ever been taught. As domestic terrorists are tearing down National Historical Monuments, often out of ignorance of who they represent and why, President Trump has decided to build the National Garden of American Heroes.

Astronaut Bill McArthur graduated from West Point in 1973, became a test pilot, joined NASA as a flight test engineer, flew on Space Shuttles Columbia, Atlantis, and Discovery, as well as the Russian Soyuz space craft, and has been on both the Russian Space Station Mir and the International Space Station. COL McArthur explains how astronauts can develop a different understanding of Earth and where they, as humans, fit into the grand scheme of things. Space philosopher and author Frank White called this ‘The Overview Effect’. He also points out that what makes America Great is not necessarily what the country can be, but more what its potential can become.

The socio-political founding documents clearly state our Rights are God-Given, for example. The Rights to Worship and to Assemble empower Americans. We do not have a caste system as a result.

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry joins Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr to talk about the fundamentals of what has made America great, and then he discusses the current challenges facing all of us to keep America great for the future.

LTC Alan West explains one of the most significant aspects of what makes America great is the American Military’s history, starting with the first shots fired at Lexington and Concord, starting the Revolutionary War. Throughout the years, young men and women continue to volunteer to serve in America’s military for the defense of the Nation. They take an oath to defend the Founding Documents of the United States.



C. L. Bryant talks about what makes America Great. Only in America with all the various differences which of our American racial and ethnic “quilt”, can individual people’s stories be told. He explains that slavery did not exist in America for 400 years. It existed for only 89 years in the Nation. It existed longer on the North American Continent, however.
