This week on the conversation we are joined by the amazing Andrea Paynter. A wide ranging discussion on safety topics, legislation, and business.

Andrea is an experienced and qualified consultant, supporting businesses to improve work health and safety (WHS) legal compliance, management system documentation, strategic planning, risk management, audit, and assisting with workplace investigations. She has developed significant experience in these areas over the past 20 years, including having worked as an Associate Solicitor practising in personal injury law in Queensland, various WHS management roles in large organisations in the private sector, in the public sector as a national WHS manager for a federal government organisation and in local government WHS, and with an array of businesses as a management consultant and licenced factual investigator.  

Andrea's diverse industry experience includes supply chain warehousing and logistics, food services, manufacturing, road surfacing, quarries, construction, arboriculture, retail, not-for-profit, heavy vehicle safety regulatory compliance, legal services and policing.

Drawing on her qualifications and experience, Andrea recently established Brisbane-based Organisational Risk Consulting, which provides tailored risk management support and specialises in WHS legal compliance and best practice solutions. The business works collaboratively with clients to achieve successful project outcomes, both locally and further afield throughout Australia and New Zealand.
