Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Dom welcomes SportsRadio 94WIP host Angelo Cataldi back onto the Dom Giordano Program to talk about the great success of Philadelphia sports, first though talking about the stumbling start of the Philadelphia 76ers, telling whether Sixers coach Doc Rivers has to worry about his job. Then, Angelo tells about what he’s looking forward to in retirement, telling of the announcement today on 94WIP that hosts Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie will be taking over when he steps away from the microphone. Finally, Cataldi and Giordano discuss Phillies manager Rob Thomson and whether Joe Girardi could’ve seen the same success, and who the manager should lead off the World Series with between pitchers Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola.
Then Dom welcomes Dr. Andrew McLaughlin, Secretary of Elementary Education at the Office of Catholic Education in the Philadelphia Archdiocese, back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the incredible success that Catholic schools are seeing in light of a National Report Card that saw a huge drop in math and reading scores due to Coronavirus edicts and lockdowns. Dr. McLaughlin tells what the schools have done, telling Giordano about a training that teachers were already partaking in when schools started to close, explaining that teachers were largely prepared after a class on remote teaching due to snow storms. McLaughlin reveals the stunning successes of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools, and explains how Philadelphia residents can send their children to a private school.
