Public anger continues to build after the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, with many women leading protests and demanding accountability. Commentary from Joy Reid intensified the conversation after she said, “This woman was part of a group of people who they train to try to be ICE interrupters… They try to observe what ICE is doing, film them, and try to use their white privilege, to be honest — they’re mainly white people. As Black people, we can’t put our bodies on the line, because cops will shoot us.”
