Hello it's Andrew, just Andrew (and guest). I also have Whisky, be afraid. This week the community about anime that should have been aborted early. With news I cover 2 of my favourite things to talk about lately, censorship and Umamusume. And finally we have a guest review from long time listener BioMegaBear who is doing battle while possessing battle Barbie's while I spend Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter dying of cringe. 💀

Man, how about that economy? It sure is contentious. How about those clowns in congress? Have you heard about the latest gaffe? With current events out of the way, we can take you mind off of them with the soothing balm of our voices and manga. So put on your headphones and tune the world out while we give you our trademark dual review(not actually trademarked). First up is Tim with Countach. Now if you’re not into historical supercars, that might sound like some good old fashioned mumbly jumbly. It is the name of a famous model by Lamborghini. This manga is about a man who dreamt of getting one …

It seems there’s another superhero movie out and we need to watch it. Who’s making this demand of us? No one in particular that we can point to. It’s just a sort of need. We can feel it. They call to us. Like the pirates of a certain ship in a much better movie. So we watched Supergirl[2026]. Superman’s cousin is not like other superheroes. She drinks and she has a dog. She likes to part and fuck around away from earth. Also she’s not like Clark, have we mentioned she’s not like Clark? Until a sad little girl shows up and is seeking vengeance from the bad guy who …

This week on Anime Pulse we got vacation hype, shoNO, and side character death battles. Up first IRL news with Andrew winning a PvP cup in the horse gatcha, and Joseph is upgrading his departure to Florida for peak comfort. Then in the industry news there is none! Lastly more reviews before whatever comes next week, as Joseph picks up a broken keyboard to use as a machine gun and Andrew meets IRyS while cleaning her apartment but she's not who he expected!

We recently were watching a show, a British show, where the host cheekily complained about making so many custom intros for their show. Wow, that must be a lot of intros that they’ve done. Let us look up and take count. Two hundred, that must be a lot. If you’re some sort of amateur. We beat the pants off of that. Of course we forgive the anglo for thinking they work. Tim has Domu. This is by the author of Akira and was published right after. You can tell because the thrust of things is a psychic old man who murders people in the apartment complex he lives in. This …

This week on Anime Pulse we got love triangles, layoffs, and camping alone but someone joins you. First up IRL news is here with Andrew fearing he may be losing his edge in Street Fighter, and Joseph's full-time job handed out some bad news. Then in the industry news a Japanese woman was arrested for ghosting on her anime purchases. Finally we have returned to reviews! Joseph goes camping by himself only to find a random woman stripping near his tent, and Andrew washes his clothes and the clothes of others.

This week on VG Pulse, we still have a bit of a spicy showing, though not quite as spicy as last show! We start off with side notes of work and general life ongoings, before we dive into the regular news where we discuss the quickly evolving Sony disk less future situation, Bethesda being forced to actually make plans, the EU’s approval towards the Saudi Arabia EA acquisition, and an FBI case of rather impressive proportions!! After the newz Millennium gives his review on his new Moza Racing R9V3 racing wheel, and I give a review ofPeglin!! We finish off with talk of spicy anime!! All this and more up …

Summer time when the manga is easy. At least as easy to come by as it always is. Not that we would ever let any kind of difficulties get in our way. We’re not so easily kept from our task of manga review. Grab some sorbet and pop in your headphones because we’ve got two manga and a couple of scores to give them. Tim has Ichi the Witch. Ichi is a dude, a little dude who hunts. He lives in a world where there are witches and they’re always ladies. These ladies go off to magic school where they beat a demon and get it’s power. Ichi comes across …
