The family of a missing woman in the Poconos is speaking out after 25 days have passed with no sign of her.

45-year-old Dana Smithers has been missing for nearly a month and was last seen on Stokes Avenue.

Dana went to a street festival at a local restaurant with her 6-year-old daughter.

Later that night she walked a few houses down to a friend’s home on stokes avenue. That’s when she was last seen, on a ring camera after 11 p.m.

The next morning her cellphone and medication were left behind at her home – with no sign of Dana.

Kortne Stouffer was last seen in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 29, 2012, at her home at 810 W. Main St. in Palmyra, Lebanon County. She was 21 years old.

Hours later, Kortne was nowhere to be found. The next day, her family reported her missing.

For a decade there have been searches on land and in the water. There have been yearly vigils. But there has been no sign of Kortne.

The Lebanon County District Attorney's Office says her disappearance continues to be an active investigation with the assistance of federal and state law enforcement partners, as well as other local agencies and the family's private investigator.

Today, Kortne is listed in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System database, case number MP#17800.

According to the FBI, "The last known contact with Stouffer was at 3:30 a.m., by the Palmyra police regarding a disturbance."
