Already, one prominent summer meltdown prompted by New York-area weather has been playing havoc with airlines and flyers -- and this time United seems to be feeling the heat. But back in May, host Rebecca Tobin, aviation editor Robert Silk and Cranky Concierge founder Brett Synder discussed the possibility of seeing a repeat of last year's "airmageddon," when flyers returned to the skies en masse and delays, negative press and photos of all those abandoned bags plagued the airlines.
