Ant and Grasshopper

蚂蚁和蝗虫

Ant hurried back and forth．

蚂蚁匆匆忙忙地来回忙活着。

Each time he went，he carried another small piece of food back to his nest．

每次他回巢，他都会带回来一小块食物。

I have to fill the nest，I have to fill the nest，he said to himself as he worked．

“我得把巢填满，”他一边工作一边自言自语。 

Grasshopper watched．He thought Ant was silly．

蝗虫在一边看着，他觉得蚂蚁很傻。

“Come and relax with me，”he called to Ant．

“来和我一起休息，”他对蚂蚁喊道。

Ant didn't stop working．“Oh no，I can't．I must get more food for winter．I have to fill the nest．”

蚂蚁并没有停止工作。“哦，不，我不能休息。我必须为冬天储存更多食物。我必须填满巢穴。” 

All summer Grasshopper relaxed and did nothing．

整个夏天，蝗虫都闲着，什么也没做。

And all summer Ant worked very hard gathering food for winter．

整个夏天蚂蚁都很辛苦地收集食物过冬。

When the leaves had fallen off the trees，a cold wind began to blow．

当树叶都从树上掉落下来时，寒风开始刮起来。

Ant crawled safely into his warm nest，but Grasshopper had nowhere to go．

蚂蚁安全地爬进温暖的巢穴里，但蝗虫却无处可去。

In spring，when fresh，green buds were on the trees，Ant came out of his nest．

春天，当树上长出新鲜的绿芽时，蚂蚁从巢里出来了。

Where was Grasshopper？He was nowhere to be found！

蝗虫在哪里？他已无处可寻！
