This week on Bad Queers, Kris teaches us “H&H” (high and horny) while Shana breaks down “homo fomo.” Then we’re joined by storyteller, filmmaker, and writer Amber J. Phillips known as Amber Abundance — aka your fave fat Black queer femme auntie from the Midwest. 

We catch up with Amber on everything from launching her Substack Toxic Femininity (yes, it’s giving Black femme scripture) to building Ample World. We get into Black queer femmes choosing desire instead of waiting to be chosen, why “straight-passing” is a trash term, and what it takes to silence the fed in your head. 

Plus: breakup dates are not closure, successful u-haulers are the exception not the rule, studs deserve a little more shade, and Amber has one very real Bad Queer Opinion about Ellie blocking our view of the tall WNBA girlies.
