Michele Manelis sat with Antonio Banderas at the HFPA's office in West Hollywood for a conversation about his career, from life as a theatre actor, to collaborating with Pedro Almodóvar, to La Movida Madrileña after the death of dictator Francisco Franco, to why his mother asked him to do "normal" movies. He also discusses moving to the United States, adapting to a new culture, and feeling like an outsider in Hollywood.
