Welcome to the 26th episode of our podcast, New Book Launch Reading 1-Read Intro What is HFA and how do you know if you have it. Today, is a special episode of our podcast where we embark on an exciting journey of book readings. Over the next few months, leading up to the launch of my new book in August this year, I'll be sharing excerpts with you. This pre-launch reading aims to pique your interest and give you a taste of what's to come. Additionally, I've started a waiting list for the official announcement of the book's release date, so stay tuned for that. Today, we'll begin with the book's introduction, exploring the concept of high functioning anxiety (HFA) and how to identify it within yourself.
My book aims to provide a deeper understanding of high functioning anxiety, its characteristics, and its impact on individuals' lives. By shedding light on this often misunderstood form of anxiety, we can foster compassion and support for those who may be dealing with it. Many people wonder if they have high functioning anxiety and how to recognize it. Instead of offering a checklist approach, the book takes a more introspective and immersive approach. By inviting readers to visualize and reflect on the words and concepts presented, it offers a more nuanced understanding of high functioning anxiety. This approach allows individuals to connect with their own experiences and gain insights into their mental well-being.
In writing this book, my aim was to provide clarity, insights, and relatable experiences that can help individuals recognize and navigate their own struggles. By embracing a more immersive and introspective approach, we move beyond simple checklists and dive into the depths of our emotions. Join us in the upcoming episodes as we continue this series of book readings, exploring different chapters and themes from the book. By delving into the intricacies of high functioning anxiety, we hope to empower listeners and foster a greater sense of understanding and a plan for how to grow from your anxiety experiences.

Welcome to the 25th episode of our podcast, Decoding Anxiety Distinguishing High-Functioning Anxiety from Clinical Diagnosis in Three Ways. In this episode, we delve into the important topic of understanding the distinctions between high-functioning anxiety (HFA) and clinical anxiety. By shedding light on these differences, we aim to foster a more inclusive and empathetic society that can provide appropriate support to individuals experiencing anxiety. Recognizing the degree of anxiety, responses to anxiety, and the visibility of anxiety to others are crucial in navigating the complexities of anxiety and promoting understanding.
We will discuss the Degree of Anxiety in High-Functioning Anxiety (HFA) is characterized by individuals experiencing significant anxiety while still managing to continue with their daily activities. HFA individuals may describe their anxiety as a constant companion, always present but not overpowering. The Response to Anxiety:
HFA individuals tend to respond to their anxiety by channeling it into productivity. The Noticeability of Anxiety to Others, which is for individuals with high-functioning anxiety is their ability to mask their anxiety symptoms. They often appear calm, composed, and capable to the outside world. This can make it difficult for others to notice their internal struggles, and consequently, it may be challenging for HFA individuals to seek support or understanding.
Distinguishing between high-functioning anxiety and a clinical anxiety diagnosis is crucial for understanding the unique challenges individuals face and providing appropriate support. By recognizing the differences in the degree of anxiety experienced, responses to anxiety, and the visibility of anxiety to others, we can better navigate the complexities of anxiety and foster a more inclusive and empathetic society. Understanding these distinctions allows us to extend the support and understanding individuals need, promoting a healthier and more compassionate environment for all.

Welcome to our 23rd episode of the Anxiety Ease podcast show, The Path to Prosperity with Tash Corbin: Business Start-Ups, and the Journey from Corporate to Entrepreneurship. I am thrilled to have Tash Corbin as our special guest. Tash is a generous, very human and thriving business strategist who specializes in lean start-up and launching. She's a passionate advocate for women in business, and in particular supports women to use their innate strengths as a competitive advantage. She specializes in teaching you how to grow your audience, nail your message, and scale your business as a Business Coach and Mentor for Heart-Centered entrepreneurs.
I've known Tash ever since I joined her Facebook group about three or four years ago, and I must say, she's one of those amazing individuals over in Australia who is making a significant impact. It's incredible how we can all connect with each other in so many different ways, especially online. Personally, I have used Tash's programs in my own business, and they have truly helped me become more comfortable in the online space.
You see, one of my biggest challenges, especially with my high functioning anxiety, has been stepping out from behind closed doors and embracing the online world. Tash's programs have taught me a lot about being comfortable within myself so that I can connect with others online. I am incredibly grateful for the transformations I've experienced through her programs and the incredible connections I've made within her group.
Today, we have the opportunity to have a candid conversation and share stories. It's important to remember that while many of us may appear relaxed and effortlessly running our businesses, there are also many of us silently battling with high functioning anxiety. It's not that anxiety keeps us stuck—because that's not who we are. We're performers, we're doers, and we push through. However, internally, anxiety can take its toll, and that's something many of us have experienced.
So, let's dive into Tash's journey, both in her business and her personal life, and explore how these two aspects intersect and influence one another.
