Apex Adjacent

We have a short and sweet one this week. We discuss being on Talon Homer's show, Ian's Ronin-themed FMKCars and Dave runs us through a license plate game. Oh! And we got gifts!

This week our virtual blanket fort is graced by Talon Homer! He's here discussing his latest YouTube Series, Drivin' Theater, cars and movies, and movie cars! All that plus Talon's fond memories of a Chevy Impala, video game racing, and a dash of therapy.

In this week's show we return to form and mostly talk about cars! That's right, it's an Apex Adjacent tech show, featuring cars! We love you everyone, please stay safe.

Whew. Okay. Take a deep breath and allow yourself to let out the ever so slightest sigh of relief. That's what we're doing on the second part of this week's show and we'd encourage you to do it as well. Oh yeah, and we also invented a mental health self-check based on the 5th gen Maserati Quattroporte. So yeah. We love you.

Look, we're going to level with you. Stuff is TENSE right now. Given everything that's happening in the world right now we've decided to split this week's episode up into two different parts. This one is a quick check-in between two friends to find out how one another is coping with everything. We'll come back at you later this week with another episode once current events play out. Please mask up, wash your hands, stay safe, and take care of yourselves and others. We love you.

In this week's episode, we host a virtual intervention/support group/investigation into our buddy Marquette's recent automotive purchase. We had a great time chatting with him, and we're looking forward to you watching/listening along.

Honestly, there isn't much we can say about this week's episode. There have been some absolutely crazy and disappointing events taking place, so in this week's episode we talk about the coup attempt and kick it over to ourselves from a time before it happened. We love you everyone, please stay safe.

Was this the 2020 any of us wanted to have? Ooof. No. Hard pass. That said, there were still some positive things we could pull out of this dumpster fire of a year. In this week's episode we reflect on the things that kept us sane and got us through, and that absolutely includes you dear listener/viewer. Thank you so much for sticking with us and we love you.

It's hard to imagine a tin foil hat that could tame Ian's mane, but in this week's episode it becomes very clear that he's going to need it. We love you everyone, stay safe and have a safe holiday season! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!

Are there lessons you could learn from this week's episode? It depends. Would you ever buy a Saab? Would you ever fill said Saab with old cans of house paint that leak all over and fill the car with fumes? Would you ever drive said Saab on track tires on snow and ice-covered roads? Well, then maybe this episode isn't going to teach you anything you didn't already know. What you will learn is that even when we're in a ditch, we still find things to be thankful for, and that includes you. We love you.
