Apex Adjacent

In this week's episode we reflect on a very specific event in the before times, a little time capsule of joy, panic, donuts, and shame. We love you everyone.

This week we're absolutely honored to have Stef Schrader return to the show. We talk all things puffalump, how Rolls Royce validated her automotive opinions, and PARSH things! Our main topic is about the demise and potential rebirth of Opposite Lock, one of the best automotive communities to exist on the internet. Oh and Jim Spanfeller is a freaking HERB. https://www.jimspanfellerisaherb.com/

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Just because you're crying while eating turkey in your basement all by yourself doesn't mean that you have to be alone, at least from an audio/video perspective.

If you are going to go through the effort of gluing a creepy freaking doll head on the back of your car, you may as well go the extra mile of getting out the soldering iron and making it a FUNCTIONAL creepy freaking doll head. We love you everyone, please stay safe.

You know, not every episode is a car show, but every episode certainly is an Apex Adjacent episode. In this episode we lightly touch on cars, but mostly we talk about our mental states, why we took a week off, post-election stress, and feelings. All the feelings.

Ian is back in Denver! And not in his house. Yep, in this episode Ian beams in from his mobile blanket fort studio bathroom station. We had a great time catching up and sharing our respective car spotting and brunch pictures. Oh, and for the love of dog, GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

Well, based on the title and a vanity plate, we don't know if buying a convertible C5 Corvette is really on the list, but here we are. In this episode we retreat to our island to take a mental break from the insanity of the world right now. Come with us, camp out for a bit, and for the love of dog effing VOTE!

Our boy Ian is out and about, so apologies for the truncated episode. Besides Ian's apology-non-apology, still manage to wedge in some discussion around one of the more earnest and INSANE vanity plates we've ever seen. We love you everyone. Vote.

You speak, we listen. Mostly. Sometimes. Anyway, what are we talking about? Cars. Nope! Bicycles. And then some cars too. Thanks Daniel for suggesting this, it was a really fun episode. We love you everyone!

In this week's episode Ian's been having a time. In typical fashion, Dave is ready and waiting with the automotive podcast equivalent of a hot cup of tea and a well-worn book by the fireplace. After all, what is our show without equal parts therapy session, car stuff, and sheep-based mood assessments. You read that correctly. We love you.
