Apex Adjacent

Cool. Calm. Collective. A friggin ice cube under pressure. When weird stuff goes down, and it has gone down, Ian's expert hands know how to handle the situation. Besides our cooler Ian diffusing an INSANE situation, we have a whole bunch of listener stuff that you goofballs sent us. Thank you, we love you!

In this week's episode Ian screams into the sky, wishing his celestial Calgon vanquish him from the hellscape that is our present tundra. Dave? Oh, he just brags about beating the pants off of his skyward-bound co-host in Fantasy F1. We love you.

Wow. Five years. In this, our 5th anniversary show, we reflect on how far we've come, how fantastic our listeners are, and how clutch this show has been for both of us. Thank you. Thank you so much everyone, we love you.

Wow. Ian's reading of vanity plates is...something. It's not that he gets them wrong, but he certainly makes them more fun. Look, if you're going to broadcast when you graduated from an Ivy League college by way of DMV purchases then I'm not sure what else to tell you. We love you everyone.

Parting with a car can be difficult, especially when you are also parting with the idea or the potential of what that vehicle could be. In this week's episode we discuss Ian finally letting go of his beloved Saab TurboX SportCombi and how he feels about the newest addition to the Apex Adjacent garage.

There's having cars, then there's having CARS. Our good buddy Donnie certainly has had some CARS, so when the prospect of Donnie doing a deep dive on how his automotive ownership has overlapped with the famous rappington rapper of rapperies, Birdman, we had no choice but to beam him in to the virtual blanket fort and provide a platform for what is certainly one of the best Microsoft PowerPoint presentations ever made. We love you everyone, stay safe.

Who you gonna call when you need a JDM camper van that may leave you stranded on mountain passes? Who could answer the call to provide transportation that lulls you to sleep as you comfortably waft from the board room to the tee box? Hat Bro and Golf Boi!

When Dr. Ian is your consulting physician in your oddball automotive purchasing decision, the results are guaranteed to be nothing less than fantastic and adorable.

In this week's episode we dig deep on a super odd car sent to us by way of our buddy Eric. We also discuss some less nightmare-ish topics such as Peedah's amazing E36 M3 and spotting a pre-production Cadillac V.

It's not really the most fiscally responsible way of figuring out what those weird passenger seat buttons are on a Lexus, but we're not your normal automotive podcast, are we? We love you.
