Episode 35-How do you rate things?

We talk this time about rating your ride-share driver, how Ian would rate new drivers, and how low Dave would rate LCD Soundsystem. But that too-low rating is nothing compared to how too-low Dave's V-Neck was on his shirt.

Episode 34-See, there's the "okay".

Yeah, this is a weird one. Let's just get that out of the way right now. Dave full on rages against the Segway machine, Ian contemplates life as a freegan, and yeah...other stuff is discussed.

Once again we have thoughts on a carmaker's proposed then rescinded flagship sedan, then end up discussing Lincoln, because that's just what we do.

We also turn our attention to the Tesla Model 3, Ian's father and new listeners, and Dave learns that he is once again out of the loop on car news, even though HE HAS AN AUTOMOTIVE PODCAST. All that plus yelling and laughter await those brave enough to make it through the awkward discussion of the application of oils during this episode. Thank you, sorry.

Episode 33-Really, nothing went wrong!

Jason Torchinsky of Jalopnik joins us in the blanket fort this time for a wide-ranging discussion on cars, parenthood, and telling automakers that you know better than them. The best part? No recorder malfunctions this time!

Episode 31-Or maybe just be ready with the pocket taffy.

We went to the 2016 Denver Auto Show with the intention of acting like adults and giving you, dear listener, some actual information. But if we're honest, we didn't make it too long before we started goofing off.

We did, however, end up interviewing show runner Tim Jackson and getting some insight on what it's like putting together a regional car show, sitting in a lot of new cars, and giving Dave the F1 update he didn't ask for.

Episode 30-It's almost probably going to be okay.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times to be a pair of hapless automotive podcasters.

The good news is that we had a great conversation with Mr. Regular from Regular Car Reviews via Skype! The bad news is that we had a technical mishap and lost a good size chunk of the interview. I'm not sure we can get MORE TeamClearCoat than landing an important interview and then finding a way to screw it up completely.

Episode 29 - Really, he's no help at all.

If you're going to crash into the uncanny valley of luxury cars, it might make sense to know how to get out of your vehicle.

And while you're falling down there, you might see the latest hypercar from Sweden, the latest atrocity from Man Sorry (Dave's not even posting a link to it, no one deserves to see that ever), or maybe even a diabetic cat that's exactly the same as a good set of track tires.

Episode 28 - Now it's Dave's turn to ruin something by liking it.

Let's just get this out of the way: Dave and Ian get in their biggest argument to date.

Was it over Rolls Royce - which comes up a lot? No. How about the idea of securing connected cars? Nope. The correct way to shift an automatic transmission? Uh-uh. OOORRRR was it the old enthusiast punching bag: the Toyota Prius? Ding ding ding!

But all is well - Dave joined Facebook, Ian drove them off into the distance, and when they got home he looked wistfully into the middle distance and said, "that was an expensive tow home."

Episode 27 - Yep, a loop.

There's a guest in the blanket fort, but only sort of. Dave's friend Eric is observing the podcasting process, like the worst Jane Goodall impersonator ever.

His detailed notes will include signs of shock from car crash eyewitness stories, and how one of his subjects (the tall ginger one) has the power to extract honesty from strangers, but then get immediately embarrassed by said honesty.

And then Eric may be able to report observations of an elusive group of IT nerds in their native habitat: complaining about a new, untested technology. His subjects also talk about poop a lot.

Episode 26 - Really, a Kia.

It's all about convincing arguments this time in the refreshed blanket fort:
