Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering up a way he believes Temple University can help to create a safer environment by constricting what it is they do, forcing the hand of the City of Philadelphia to pick up the slack and fix their policing and safety issues. Then, Dom brings up the topic of East Palestine, playing back a clip of Pete Buttigieg’s Press Secretary who claimed reporters were being ‘aggressive’ by filming her, who were solely looking for answers on the Biden administrations lack of response to the environmental disaster. Also, Dom plays back clips from Donald Trump’s visit to the town, with the former President buying McDonalds for firefighters, police officers, and residents of the town.
Then, Dom welcomes in author and Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear why he has chosen to run against Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, and others in the upcoming primary. Vivek explains much of his campaign is about finding what it means to be a true American as America stumbles through what he explains as an ‘adolescent phase,’ with cultural wars breaking out over almost any topic. This leads Vivek to say he’d be willing to ban social media for children under 16, which Dom questions, to which Vivek compares the damage done to the minds of children to the physical damage caused by cigarettes.
