#RafiFarber - Gold & Silver Plunge Predicted Here Last Week Comes True

Gold took a big hit, and silver took an even bigger hit this week.

Check the past two silver reports and Rafi Farber has been warning about this, tipped off by both open interest and bullion bank short positions in the nosebleed section.

Meanwhile, the yield curve is getting very close to uninverting.

The last 4 times this has happened (1990, 2000, 2008, and 2019), it almost immediately preceded a recession coupled with the customary financial mayhem.

Treasury Orders Banks To Report Russian Assets For Eventual Forfeiture

Earlier this year Congress passed the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act. Which would facilitate the confiscation of the Russian assets that were frozen when Russia invaded Ukraine.

On Tuesday night, the US Treasury took the next step towards an outright confiscation by ordering US banks to start disclosing its holdings of Russian assets, 'with the goal of eventually seizing those assets and selling them to aid the Ukrainian economy.'

India Slashes Gold, Silver Import Tax From 15% To 6%

India has a long history of gold and silver, and is known to be a price sensitive buyer.

Which is one of the reasons why the news this week that they slashed the gold and silver import taxes from 15% to 6% is so significant.

India has already repatriated its gold from London this year, and has continued adding gold to its reserves. And the change in policy facilitates even more gold and silver investment in the 2nd half of 2024.
