Maria Cebrian, the founder of the vegan supplement company Terraseed and activist for animals, is leading the Transparent Label Campaign to fight on behalf of these animals. The fact is that approximately 50% of dietary supplements contain animal-derived ingredients. According to a recent study authored by animal protection global organization The Save Movement and Terraseed, supported by a coalition of animal welfare non-profit organizations, there is a lack of transparency in disclosing the animal-derived ingredients or how those inputs are sources. In an industry worth $55 billion, this study identifies the gap of the impact of nutritional supplements on our environment and animals worldwide.
