The Nashville Predators welcomed a red hot New York Islanders team to Bridgestone Arena last night, and a gritty performance gave the Preds their third win in a row with a 5-4 victory. On today's Locked On Predators, we break down last night's game including our "one word" to describe the highs and lows of the contest. We take a look at the Predators' productive first period and what the team did well to get off to their hot start. Nashville had to handle the second and third period pushback from the Isles, and we take a look at how the Preds handled those momentum changes in the game. Young Juuso Parssinen scored two goals, including a timely power play goal in the third period, but we'll tell you the one aspect of his game we were most impressed with that goes beyond his scoring. It was a four point night for Roman Josi. Nick and Ann talk about the important change that may have sparked a productive outing for the captain and why the time was right for the move. It wasn't a perfect game for the Preds, and we'll give you the two areas Nashville must clean up before they face Tampa Bay on Saturday night.
