The common thread for business survivors of the pandemic is their relative digital engagement, according to Bruce Billson, the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman. Mr Billson says digitally engaged SMEs are more nimble and robust. He says businesses that have become digitised are 50 percent more likely to be growing, and that it is imperative for hesitant owners to move into the digital world, pandemic or not.
