💭 Something to Ponder
Do you ever feel depleted—emotionally, spiritually, physically—as if life, people, or even your faith journey have drained you dry?
Lynette Kittle brings a timely reminder that God doesn’t use us the way the world does. Where people may exploit others for personal gain, God pours into us, shaping and strengthening us for His good purposes. He works through us not to take away, but to give abundantly—purpose, strength, joy, and identity.
“God has placed His purpose for our lives deep within us… and it is set for completion and brings goodness to this life.”
From being formed like clay in the Potter’s hands (Isaiah 64:8) to being filled with His Spirit to accomplish what He’s prepared us for (Philippians 2:13, Ephesians 2:10), we are not empty vessels but divinely crafted ones—made to overflow.
So if you're feeling "used up," step back and ask: Am I looking to the world to define my worth? Or am I resting in the assurance that the God who created me has also equipped me?
🙏 Your Nightly Prayer
Dear Father,
Thank You for fashioning us with care and intention. Thank You that what You place within us is not meant to be drained away by the world, but fulfilled in You. Strengthen us when we feel used up or overlooked, and lead us to walk confidently in the purpose You’ve already prepared. Help us follow You even when we can’t see the next step, trusting You to complete the good work You began in us.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
