🌾 Evening Meditation
Do you struggle to feel wonderfully made?
Most of us do at some point—especially when life’s pressures, health concerns, financial stress, or our own reflections in the mirror challenge the truth of who God says we are. In tonight’s episode, Lynette Kittle gently invites us to realign our self-image with God’s image of us, straight from Psalm 139.
Though the world measures worth by ever-changing beauty standards and achievement checklists, God declares your value from the moment He formed you in the womb. You are fearfully and wonderfully made—not by society’s metrics, but by the hands of the Creator Himself.
The truth is: God's love for you is rooted in something far deeper than your appearance or accomplishments. He has cherished you from your very first unformed breath. And nothing—not time, trauma, or self-doubt—can undo His intentional, intimate design.
🙏 Your Nightly Prayer
Dear Father,
Thank You for fearfully and wonderfully creating us, for secretly knitting and weaving us together in our mothers’ wombs. Help us to believe each and every day what Your word says about us, waking up each day looking in the mirror believing and receiving the love You have for us—a love that began long before our first heartbeat and breath.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
🌙 Three Things to Meditate Upon
How do you see yourself?
When you think about who you are, what words come to mind—and do they align with God’s?
What voices shape your self-image?
Reflect on the words others have spoken over you. Are they lifting you up or holding you back?
Do you believe you're wonderfully made?
Be honest with God. If you're struggling, ask Him to heal the wounds that distort your view of your worth.
