An empowering way to start off this new year (we deserve it) is by giving yourself the gift of a word to live by. I’ve narrowed my word of the year down to two. Which one do you think I should chose? I’ve been living my years by one word since 2018. It’s a resolution, only way more encompassing and no way to really fumble on it as it’s all encompassing.

In this episode I’m talking about how I’m staying the course of empowerment even in covid careful and tenuous 2020 times. It’s been a hell of a year for us as Armenians, so taking little steps to stay empowered leads to big improvements down the line. I’m featuring two Armenian authors here as well while I continue the buy Armenian is the season project. Enjoy this listen!

How appropriate to be advertising Linda’s art today on this podcast about empowering our dadigs, medzmoms and nenes. Are we forgetting about the elders in artsahk who just moved their whole lives out of their homes at the hands of the terrible Turk? Are we forgetting they need empowering words of encouragement too? Listen to this podcast about how my sons AYF is hosting a letters to grandmas for the displaced and depressed in Armenia. They are our women warriors, just like Linda’s sketches reflect. They deserve more than respect, they deserve empowering too!

We aren’t going to be stereotype threatened anymore. We don’t have 20 years to waste on bosses, coworkers, partners or family members that participate in the stereotyping of us into submission. We have bigger things to do and invent, and create and work on than eating out time with those that negatively affect our good decision making skills. Let’s get out of that funk and move ahead.

The pressure to repopulate Armenia isn’t new, but is it more important now that we’ve lost so many of our soldiers? Aren’t we just continuing the same old same old and keeping our women hunkered down and away from their truth and potential? It’s not a simple fix and I’m going to talk about why we need to pull the brakes on that pressure. We have bigger things going on now and need all hands on deck!

Happy to present the fourth and final buy Armenian is the season. This episode reminds us to stay UNIFIED and unwaveringly healthy in spirit for our brothers and sisters in artsahk and Armenia. We cannot let the narcissist and nay sayers to drag us down. We have the power as Armenians in this world to stick to the focused plan of a free/azad Armenia with every fiber of our being. We can do this humanitarian effort with pride and know that we did our part to keep us in existence just that much longer. The best way to do this is to buy Armenian whenever you can and study our language and culture and spread the peaceful news about us.

So grateful this year for finally being out of toxic family ties on a special American holiday. Armenian women everywhere are being judged on their tday performance and that’s just sad! Empower the woman in your home making it special for you. I’m glad to be away from that scene and so should you if you have also come out of the cycle of abuse. End of war rant included in this episode and we need empowered women in the GOVERNMENT HOUSE!! I mean it, we need to be entrepreneurs at the political table, not just at the business table. I’ve been promoting mostly armenian women owned business, so clearly we have a talent that is second to none. We need to continue the unity and buy Armenian so that we stay empowered and confident as a whole. We need each other to help each other like never before and it’s obvious we are our only friend in this world so keep on supporting, fundraising and buying Armenian!!

This has been the hardest week for Armenians everywhere to date since we lost the war. Press on we will and buying Armenian is more important than ever before. Staying unified like we have been and supporting our people monetarily is the way up and the way toward existence of us all. The world needs us and we will live on and on despite our enemies wishes for us not to.
