I couldn't believe it either. In Seattle they have a (yes this is what they call it) "Housing Affordability" law that forces homeowners to pay this fee on a building permit. We will talk with the Institute for Justice about how they are trying to help out the homeowners by fighting back on this expensive fee for a remodel. A special thanks to Bill Maurer for coming on the show today. We will also be talking about 8 everyday things that are dirtier than a toilet....This might make you clean a few things just a little more around your house.

We dive into what some of those outdoor projects cost. A wood deck compared to a composite deck. What is the return back to your house as far as value goes? You might be surprised as what might have given you a 120% value about five years ago might only be 66% now as styles change.
Then later in the show I share up a couple of excerpts from my live video this week with Caroline Blazovsky, America's Healthy Home Expert. There is one thing you might be doing in your home that makes your house air so dirty...it has the same particulate matter in your air than outside in a major city in India. You wont want to miss this episode of Around the House with Eric G. For more information about Caroline you can find her at https://www.healthyhomeexpert.com/

Now that we have all been trapped in our own homes for months on end I wanted to team up with my cable provider Comcast and talk about what some of the causes are for slow download speeds and really find out how everyone working from home has changed how we use cable and internet. What can you do to troubleshoot your system? What should you be doing to keep it running better? Its all right here where we talk to Todd Gorder from Comcast. This is not a infomercial but just a great conversation on what you can do to keep your system running strong and trouble free no matter where you get your internet service from.
