  • Oceans In The Desert From Dionne Warwick From Her Album Dwuets
Legendary vocalist Dionne Warwick has a new single that is now available."Ocean In The Desert" is the first release from "DWuets," the final album of Ms. Warwick's 65-year recording career. The single features a first time collaboration between Warwick and Emmy, Tony, 2x Grammy winning and 3x Oscar nominated artist Cynthia Erivo. "DWuets" is a full album of duets written entirely by 17-time Oscar nominee and Special Oscar recipient Diane Warren - marking the first time Warwick and Warren have worked together. The DW in the duet album's title is a homage to Dionne and Diane's initials.Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated producer Damon Elliott produced all the album's duets. The single will be released via Elliott Entertainment in partnership with Vydia, a Gamma company."It was such a joy to be in the studio harmonizing with such a talented entertainer as Cynthia," commented Ms. Warwick. "We immediately bonded and had so much fun recording this beautiful song.""The experience of watching all of these young legends working with a real living legend," remarked Damon Eilliott. "Dionne Warwick was a thrill to watch. Mom picked the lock for them and they paid respect to one of the greatest artists ever."Artist Marcus Glenn, the official artist of the 56th Grammy Awards, created all of the artwork for the project including the album cover and individual single covers. • Ruta's Closet From Keith Morgan Unpredictable Compassionate Reality In Repeat Mode And More
Ruta's Closet tells the compelling Holocaust story of a Jewish family, imprisoned in the tiny Shavl ghetto in Lithuania, during World War II, written by journalist Keith Morgan. We are familiar with many of the great Jewish communities of the pre-war years and of their fate when they were turned into ghettos and became the scenes of mass murder and deportation. One such place that is less familiar is the Lithuanian town of Siauliai, known in Yiddish as Shavl. The few survivors of that once vibrant Jewish community have often expressed to me their sadness that it does not figure as prominently as it ought in most accounts of the Holocaust. This book redresses that balance.“The origins of Ruta's Closet trace back to 1997 when I wrote a newspaper column in Vancouver's Province about Holocaust survivor Ruth Kron Sigal, now deceased,” says Morgan.  “In my long newspaper career, I’d covered many chilling true-life crimes but her story was the most remarkable I had heard.”It is the true story of how Ruth's family sought to escape the deadly clutches of Hitler's Final Solution in Lithuania. Her parents’ determination to survive grew stronger as members of their Jewish family and good friends died at the hands of the Nazis and marauding armed collaborators. This important book records chilling accounts of mass murders, a cruel Nazi ban on births, forced attendance by young and old at a public hanging, the saving of a ruthless SS officer by a Jewish doctor and the transport of hundreds of ghetto children to their deaths in the gas chambers at the Auschwitz Death Camp. Such events will horrify readers but the bravery shown by the family and their neighbors make it a compelling read -- as intriguing as it is inspirational. While the narrative is fact-based, it reads like fiction, making it accessible to all generations of readers.

  • RFK Jr The Fall And Rise From Award Winning Journalist Isabel Vincent
Born into one of the most storied families in American history, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was fourteenyears old when his father was assassinated. He has since spent his life grappling with the weight of his family's legacy. Like his martyred father, RFK Jr. longs to be a hero, but he has struggled with his demons. "I knew daddy was watching me, and that he loved me," he wrote in a diary entry, "But I also felt I was disappointing him."Those thoughts were set down in his diary when he was serving out a monthlong prison term in Puerto Rico for civil disobedience. The experience changed his life. Alone in his cell, he was forced to grapple with his personal conflicts-his addictions to drugs and women-but also to question everything that he and his family once held sacred, including their allegiance to the Democratic Party, which had sustained the Kennedy family for generations.RFK Jr. became disillusioned with many of the party's leaders even as he committed himself to carving out a distinct identity as a public servant. He would vow to step up his environmental crusade, later establishing himself as a public health critic with controversial views on vaccines. He became a political maverick. But even now, in his seventies, and after an unexpected pivot into the national spotlight as a political and cultural figure at odds with both the Democratic Party and his family, RFK Jr. is still fighting to live up to the legacy of his father. This timely release marks the one-year anniversary of RFK Jr.'s appointment as Secretary for Health and Human Services, reflecting on his impactful first year in office. It uncovers the personal struggles, family pressures, and political milestones that have shaped his extraordinary and often contradictory life.

  • The Resurrection Episode Eight Calling Up The Muse Redirecting Our Universal Communication Lines
Do you believe in resurrections?  They happen every day.  But are you willing to listen, to participate, to explore and find newer ways to understand your personal journey? This podcast isn’t about what we study and see through the eyes of religion. My Boy Boy Ernie spoke with me every chance we had together.  But this isn’t about resurrecting a spiritual brother of nearly 34 years.  This resurrection is that of a writing instrument. Verbal documentation of what some may call a vision quest.  Trusting the great mysteries of life.  Tools are handed to us to carve out each expectation.  This tool was laid to rest inside a forest floor.  To experience the elements of reality while connecting with a universe that unconditionally shares its stories.  But whose writing it?  Welcome to The Resurrection…
