Today we assemble the avengers again, we form Voltron, other references about people coming together. This one, however, is a little different--a mystery is to be solved here. This week we start off with one for the kiddos (and all you parents out there). Author of the children's book "Build With Bricks" - Ray Alan Price - talks writing a "Pigquel" to the classic "Three Little Pigs" tale.

Episode #60 -- Continuing the"Indie Author Handbook" series, where I go over all the tips and tricks I've had to learn the hard way on this path to publication, this month's focus is formatting/interior book design.

Due to some Monday blues on my end, I started this episode with a little midweek kick in the ass for those that need it but jump right into the tutorial after a minute or two so skip ahead of you don't need to hear my dumbass try to motivate you.

What I go over today is essential in taking your manuscript to the next level and giving these traditional publishing houses a run for their money: Custom Text For Cover & Chapter Titles.

All your favorite book have them, why not you? It's so easy a caveman (i.e: me) can do it, and is only limited by your creativity--after learning the basics of course.

The software I use is INKSCAPE, its completely free and very user-friendly. I've tried many other similar programs but none of them get as much use as INKSCAPE.
