TGIF - The Groupcast Issues on Friday (it was hard finding an 'i' for the acronym, bite me). I'm joined by the rogue's gallery this week: Adam Gaffen, P.L. Stuart, Sam A. Addo, and Seymour Zeynalli.

You know the drill, four peers, all Indie Authors, discussing everything and anything to do with our craft. Episode #51 and I'm joined this week by Brittany Leonard, author of the newly released “The Life of a Shadow” (available now on Amazon!) and the soon to be released graphic novel “Element”.

Brittany was an absolute delight, her artistry (she does all her own illustrations 🤯) mixed with her creativity create a powerhouse of an author that is to be reckoned with (it’s over 9000!!).

Her debut is a kid’s book called “The Life of a Shadow” that not only teaches children how to deal with issues we all face today but also flexes their artistic muscles by featuring an arts & craft section at the end of the book where you can create your own “shadow” at home! I love this idea and if you’re not sold on that then listen to the backstory she gives for the book and tell me it doesn’t hit you square in the feels!

Not only is she creative, Brittany is a person with a purpose. As an anti-pollution advocate, she uses her stories to only entertain but to remind people the dangers of not being eco-conscious and show us what could happen if we don’t smarten up as a whole.

The graphic novel she’s working on and hoping to release by 2022, “Element”, revolves around this idea of eco-consciousness and bends it around a fantasy world where each elemental plane (alternate dimensions where respective elements rule) is facing a crisis with pollution! Such a fun and unique idea, plus the passion she exuberantes when she talks about it always puts a huge smile of my face.

Episode #47 and Steve R. Gans is back! He's the author of Israfel Rising and the newly released Israfel Fallen which is availble now on Amazon as well as his official website.
