Alaska's summer travel season is about to kick off, and this year the cruise industry is looking at a record deployment (The link to that article is below).

In this episode, host Rebecca Tobin and Travel Weekly aviation editor Robert Silk, who has just returned from Alaska, brought back Kirsten Dixon, a well known hotelier and hospitality expert in the state, to talk about how to travel in Alaska in the winter, Dixon's involvement with the Iditarod dogsled race, this summer's tourism highlights and whether travel in the state is "back."
