Episode 291 -- The Oakland Athletics lost to the Kansas City Royals on Thursday night, snapping their losing streak at five games. Frankie Montas looked good for most of the outing, but the 7th inning had a couple of tough bounces.

Dave Kaval told the Mercury News that if the A's build a ballpark in Oakland, expect them to have a "top 5-10 payroll." Obviously there is no guarantee that this would happen, but what could an A's team that spends be capable of?
