Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Lenten season, where we receive ashes in the shape of a cross on our foreheads — to symbolize our humanity, mortality, limitations, suffering, and the inevitability of death. It's an outward reminder of our need for God to save us.
Today, we're also kicking off a special podcast series for Lent. We'll be posting new episodes every weekday leading up to Easter. In this first episode, you'll hear from Adrienne Christian, Spiritual Direction Pastor, as she looks at Genesis 3:1-13. Throughout the season, we will be inviting you to answer the question that God asked Adam & Eve: Where are you?
