Today's Question:
Hello code friends, we were working on a project the other day where the specifications call for the 277/480V system wiring be color-coded as: brown, orange & yellow for the ungrounded conductors, and white for the grounded neutral conductor. I was always taught that the neutral conductor for a 277/480V system needed to be gray. Does the NEC® permit a white grounded neutral conductor for a 277/480 system?
