We are in the final stages (degrees) of perfecting ourselves in preparation for entering the world of relationship.  This is symbolized astrologically by Venus now moving through the last few degrees of Virgo and entering Libra Monday.  Zero degrees of Libra marks the midway point in the yearly cycle indicating a turning point from building up (inhaling) to giving away (exhaling).

This year we have had this point function as the tail of a “Kite” formation as it is opposite to Saturn and Neptune while in a grand trine with Pluto and Uranus.  Mars first crossed this point August 7th, Mercury September 18th, the Sun September 22nd, and now, on Monday Venus!  These important dates (and this entire period) indicate a period where profound realizations and changes can and have occurred both externally and deep within our psyches.

In today’s reports (Yes, there are two!) I go in depth into the meaning of these times, what challenges are presenting themselves, and how to best use them as opportunities for growth.  Probably the easiest and shortest way to sum it up is that we are in a time of reckoning.  Reckoning with our past, with ourselves, with our relationships, and with our society.  It is a time when false facades, deceitfulness and covert activities breakdown, fail, and crack open to reveal hidden secrets, truths, and solid reality.

You might think that everyone would shout out and jump for joy!  However, as delicate, frail, wounded, and longing humans, we have innocently created so many illusions, expectations, fantasies, and projections that it can be quite shocking when the truth emerges.  Many institutions, public figures, respected citizens, and people you know are being humbled by the mistakes they have made in the past, erroneous assumptions, self-deceptions, and false identities they can no longer maintain.  In other words “The s**t is hitting the fan!” 

The beauty of the kite configuration is that it indicates the possibility of using the wind to fly higher than we have yet been able to!  For truth seekers who are passionately seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the world, this is an amazing time!  With the lies and deceptions exposed and swept away, we can begin building our new paradigm on firm foundations of truth.  Our relationships can mirror back to us the harmony, peace and joy that comes from within as we align with our soul purpose.  And ultimately, over time, the collective will awaken and expand their capacity to care, love, and support each other and mother nature.  So, while grieving that which is no longer working and needs to go, let’s keep hope in our hearts as we begin to rebuild a new world!
