Hey There New Paradigmers!

OMG!  Venus conjunct Jupiter!  Faith, Hope, and Love!  Altogether now, "Love, Love,Love, All you need is Love!"  What could possibly stop the most powerful force in the universe (love that is)?  US!  That's right folks, we can get in the way of love, accidentally or on purpose, we can lose faith and hope, we can close our hearts in an attempt to protect ourselves from hurt, and we can come up with a million different reasons why NOT to love.  

Especially when Mercury is square Saturn on the same day.  This is where doubt can creep in, we're not ready for love, we don't deserve love, we don't have enough love to give, we don't know how to love, we've loved and lost before why get hurt again... bla bla bla, the beat goes on.  This is where we can also begin to understand just how much our thoughts really do create our reality.  All the more reason to be mindful and watch every thought that we're thinking.

Now since it's Venus, go ahead and replace the word "love" up above with "money."  OMG!  It's amazing how astrology connects so many things together that we otherwise would not see in relation.  I spoke to that relationship in today's report.  One thing we need to be careful of during this conjunction is "indulgence."  If anything we can become overly optimistic, feel lucky, like since the stars have begun to shine on us they always will from now on, and overspend, overeat, oversleep, just add "over" to anything having to do with Venus and then be aware.

When might we see the down/dark side of this transit?  You'll need to look at your natal birth chart to see what house 25/26 degrees of Cancer falls in first of all, and then look at the aspects this conjunction makes to other points in your natal and progressed chart.  It's impossible to go into all the variations here or in the Pele report but let's remember that Jupiter sometimes helps us expand by removing limitations.  These may be relationships, jobs, possessions, even money if it's not assisting our soul evolution.  This can bring great sorrow and not be understood for many years to come.  Hence it remains so important to trust in Spirit and keep the faith!

"To be or not to be? To do or not to do? Is it true or not true?" These are the questions to be asking these days.  Another one is "Is it worth my time?"  The answers to all these questions are better to be found inside first before asking another.  Honesty begins at home.  I love Byron Katie's "The Work" where the first question she wants us to ask ourselves when another person criticizes or triggers us is "Is it True?"  Soo often when we're emotionally triggered it's our own shadow (suppressed aspects of ourselves) that's disturbed when another sees it, represents it, or acts it out.  If it's true we need to go down a different road than if it's false.

This full Moon in Sag will bring us some opportunities to hone our skill in getting our ego-self out of the way to allow for our higher-observer self to enlighten us.  Let's remember that what may be true for mom, dad, sister, friend, lover may not be true for us.  Then we have a situation where it is true, it's just not true for us.  Then, to go even farther, there is not just true and false, there are degrees according to our values, soul intentions, soul history, and future path.  For someone, having a steady secure job that pays the bills may be the highest priority and very true for them.  For another, having a steady secure job that pays the bills may not be as important as cooking, painting, designing, or planning an event.  So one does not have to be wrong, but it would be wrong for one to shame, coerce, or force the other to conform to their values.

Lastly, especially with the Sun moving through Gemini, you have both those voices within yourself!  That's when we need to sit still, breathe, calm ourselves, take time, and feel within to determine the source of our values/needs.  Are they coming from old voices within coming from parents, teachers, or preachers?  Are they coming from social media, political, or other external "bosses?" Are they your partner/lover's values/needs?  Alongside, behind, or above all these inner voices is your intuitive self whispering softly what your soul truly values and what will bring you the greatest growth, love, power, and peace.  This is La Luna in Sag talkin' to you!  let's listen!

Bongiorno New Paradigmers!

I hope you know what I'm talking about as I've been talking about it for some time now.  Yes, these are challenging times, and yes it's easy to get caught up in the mayhem, get concerned, worried, and even want to "fight back" sometimes.  However, as I mentioned at the beginning of this week's report, just because most all the planets are in the first four signs of the zodiac which have to do with Self, Self preservation, development, and nurturing, that doesn't mean we are to simply "self serve."  

It may be easier to withdraw, contract, retreat, or fight, but the spiritually evolutionary path forward is to both find balance between self and other while also integrating ourselves within the greater whole of humankind.  This week will bring us many opportunities to see our differences from other human beings and we will hopefully find new ways of dealing with our opposition to, and differences from, one another.  Perhaps the old way is to be the judge, jury and executioner, ie. note the differences and turn away.  The new way forward is to expand "the field" so as to include all the differing perspectives and approaches rather than exclude.  It's not either/or it's both and more.

First of all, this requires TOLERANCE, second, conversation, discussion, and conflict resolution.  Can we do it?  Can we use every differing opinion, value, approach, and belief as an eye opening opportunity (Sun conjunct Uranus in Gemini) to see life from another perspective rather than our own without instantly judging/condemning/rejecting the other (foreign) point of view?  If so, we learn rather than judge, expand rather than contract, and grow rather than shrink or stay stuck in our same, old, narrow, safe, limited reality throwing stones at the "weirdos."  It ain't easy but we can do it! 

Again, it all comes down to relaxing, breathing, and reminding ourselves that there are no "accidents," everything is perfectly imperfect, and we are constantly being given the perfect problems to help us strengthen what is weak within us.  "Everything will be alright" whether we think it is alright or not (that's the tricky part of this mantra LOL!).  Let's find what's "right" about every person and situation that comes our way as there is Gemini learning to do in every "crazy" situation.  Hang in there!

I spoke of the evolutionary intention of Mars changing from the extroverted action of Aries to the inward presence of Taurus.  First, he has to pass through the gate of Chiron.  This symbolizes an opportunity for each of us to feel into the wounded masculine within ourselves and allow for healing.  The masculine carries a lot of guilt for all that's gone down and has been handed down from our wounded fathers through the centuries.  This is an opportunity for ancestral healing through compassionate forgiveness of acts done without awareness, sensitivity, and respect.  Only through acceptance can real healing take place and will Mars, moving gently into Taurus, 

get the most out of his time there.

What I didn't mention was the changing evolutionary intention of Venus as she passes through the gate of Gemini into Cancer.  Since April 25th when she entered Gemini, she has been wanting more information, communication, integration, and change in her life/relationships.  Intelligent conversation sparking new, shared ideas, and opening new vistas.  She will now be diving off the airy cliffs of Gemini into the cool, deep waters of Cancer.  Here she'll be seeking emotional connection, warmth, and depth.  Her gaze will turn more inward and downward to feel her feelings more than chit chat about superficial events, news, or psychobabble. 

So, for this last week of the Sun in Taurus (He enters Gemini next Wednesday) it will be good to ground ourselves in our bodies, pay attention to our personal, inner rhythm and needs, and strengthen our own unique individual expression.  If you have ever sung in a choir or quartet or harmony, you will know that the challenge is to have your melody down!  Even when singing in a round it is easy to get lost if you are not anchored in your own tune.  Sometimes, you even have to plug your ears a bit so you don't get lost in other melodies but stay on track.

In general, with most all the planets in the first four signs of the zodiac for these last months and a couple more coming, it truly is time to anchor ourselves in ourselves so we are strong, centered, and ready for relationship(s) that complement us as we complement the other (like a good harmony) rather than us losing our tune or drowning out the others.  Let's make some beautiful music together once we each know our individual melodies!

This is a week within a month within a year within a decade of BREAKING OUT OF THE MATRIX!  Not only is this third quarter square Moon in Aquarius but Pluto is stationing to go retrograde in Aquarius this week too.  Aquarius is the archetype of Prometheus in my book.  The titan who tricked Zeus (the king of Mt. Olympus), and then stole fire from the gods and brought it down for us humans.  He actually had a hand in forming the shapes of the bodies of the first humans too.  He was a rebel and an advocate for us humans as he fostered our evolutionary development.

He defied the ruling class, the rulers themselves and the limitations they imposed on the population.  He was also punished for what he did but he bore his torturous fate with courage and dignity until freed by Chiron.  I believe he is a good model for us during these times as we too need to see through the limitations being imposed on us by today's ruling tyrants (in so many different institutions) and not continue to go along playing their game.  We may well be working toward a revolution of sorts ourselves in the upcoming years ahead.

I say this because, in addition to the Aquarian emphasis, Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, is conjunct Sedna for the next year.  In many ways we can see Sedna as a goddess of both righteousness and karma.  When humanity runs afoul of natural, moral laws her hair gets tangled, she gets angry, and withholds food (nourishment) until the situation is made right.  Together, Uranus and Sedna are for sure planning ways right now to help straighten out the mess we've made of the planet and each other over these last few thousand years.  This is the time of the "great reckoning" as foretold by Edgar Cayce.

However, another aspect or dimension of Aquarius which fits in but further defines the rebellion, is the non-attachment to anything except TRUTH.  True liberation involves letting go not only of the past, social norms and expectations, but our own desires.  This fits hand in hand with the archetype of simplicity, Taurus, where both the Sun and Mercury are now transiting.  So let's all simplify, get back to land, cultivate awareness and kindness, and, like the mantra says: feel better everyday!  Blessings!

OK, so I didn't talk about the full Moon in Scorpio as I ran outa time. I do think this goes hand in hand with what I was saying however, and underscores it. The Moon transiting through Libra and Scorpio as she gets bigger and bigger toward full, turns our feelings, hearts, and minds to our relationships, both personal and otherwise. 

Aries wants to be sovereign unto him/herself (autonomous, self determined, and free) while Libra and Scorpio both want partnership, teamwork, and to "go there together."  Now, the Sun in Taurus points to a time of identifying very clearly for ourselves what we value, find pleasurable and beautiful, and what we prioritize. 

The Moon coming through Scorpio is going to highlight the possible merging of us with a lover, a financial business partner, others with whom we are deeply engaged physically, emotionally, mentally, and/or spiritually, society, and even spirit beings on the other side. All of these "others" will pull us one way or another, want something from us, want to align with us, go deeper with us, or possibly even reject us. 

Therefore, with this energy you can see the possibility of breakups and breakdowns as people's values and priorities simply don't align. The message with the Mars/Jupiter, Mercury/Chiron, Sun and others is telling us to dig down into our souls, not be distracted or swayed or pulled by any outside forces, and sit with ourselves until we are clear about who we are, what we want, and where we're going. 

As usual, the opposite can be true. You may do just that and quit a job or break up with a partner you're not truly aligned with, OR, you may find that you ARE aligned and you're motivated to do whatever work is required (shadow work that is) to deepen that union. Woohoo! However, we should say Woohoo! one way or the other as the important thing is you tuning in, knowing yourself better, and evolving. Many Blessings!

With both the Moon and Jupiter in Cancer today I've had many feelings and realized that Life, Aries and others, don't really care about them! HA Life happens! And while there are so many things going out of control, it does all come back to self-management practices. 

Uranus moving into Gemini will come in with a bang this week, especially considering the Venus conjunction. The surprises can be both good and bad, but we all know by now that reality is spirit/soul driven for our own personal (and collective) evolutionary intentions. 

So, what to do when accidents happen? Whether it is your physical body/finances, or you are emotionally hurt, mentally disturbed, or spiritually disillusioned, the answer is pretty much the same. You slow down, you breathe, you relax to the best of your ability, practice patience, and listen inwardly. What is the message your soul is trying to give you? What needs to change? As evolutionary astrologers we know that all pain is the result of a resistance to change. This is not a time to beat yourself up because you're stubborn, it's a time to brainstorm and create new pathways of expression. When one door closes another will open, when one road is blocked there will be another. Uranus in Gemini will be calling all of us to be flexible, adapt, and hopefully make wiser choices resulting from our experience. Time to be willing to change, be creative, and master our personal reality!

This week's mantra, which relates to the Sabian symbol for the New Moon coming Friday, speaks to feelings that can come up when we are disappointed, defeated, fail, are rejected, hurt, or experience loss.  I know that whenever these happen to me I begin to doubt and question myself and I know that this can get worse to the point of debilitating.  Especially when we take these things personally, we can go down the rabbit hole of self recrimination.

So along comes a massive stellium in Aries with a New Moon to kick all of our butts!  As we know from astrology, however, it's not the planets, it's our own unconscious soul kicking our butts exactly where we need them kicked according to the aspects of our natal chart.  And if it's one thing that Saturn wants to teach us it is objectivity and maturity - to NOT take things personally but to rise up, see a bigger picture of everything that is involved and get over our bad selves.

So, this week is like taking up the gauntlet, the challenge, and saying "Oh, it's not that I AM bad, weak, dumb, (fill in the blank) but that I could be better, stronger, or smarter!"  The big message here is that Life is supporting us in growing, expanding, and evolving with every single experience that comes along.  The more we trust life the easier it will be to trust that we ourselves can do better, improve, and get "back in the ring" for another round.  Bounce back better!

It matters most when the chips are down what we think, feel and do.  Like I said in the report we need to be very smart and consider all our options, putting pressure at bay with proper boundaries so we can tune into ourselves and our truth for the right answers.  All in all it's time to "Get up, Stand up, Stand up for your Rights" as Jimmy would say!  Go for it!

Yeah, I changed the mantra a bit after I filmed.....  Anyway, let's get a little techie here for you astro-buffs!  Stelliums are a fascinating study in astrology all by themselves.  They occur when three or more planets are in the same sign/house within a 9 degree orb (distance between).  With that definition we will be having an "Aries Stellium" pretty much until Mars leaves Aries for Taurus May 19th.  That's a lot of Cardinal Fire and we'll be seeing it!

With a stellium it's important to note the order of the planets, which with these transits, is changing.  First, Mars enters Aries Thursday and hits Neptune, then Saturn, then Eris and finally Chiron before exiting.  Hence, we can interpret that Mars will shoot for the Moon (so to speak) with some very unrealistic expectations as it joins with dreamy, idealistic Neptune.  Then it will move on and hit Saturn April 18th and get really pissed off as Saturn will block, stop, inhibit, and try to correct his ways.  He'll then march on and hit Eris May 12th and the two of them will raise holy hell together.  Finally, on May 16th he'll hit Chiron for a healing crisis that could well involve hemorrhaging.  This foretells a difficult time ahead.  

Next, enter Mercury Tuesday for a slightly different journey.  Mercury, the negotiator will hit Neptune first and express optimistic (even if not true) hopes but as it approaches Saturn on the 19th, Mars will be there for a 7 degree stellium all its own.  If Mars doesn't kill negotiations Saturn will.  Next comes the Moon which rules the public as well as the general feeling atmosphere.  She'll hit Mercury first next Wednesday, then Neptune, Mars, and Saturn within hours before passing the Sun for a New Moon (Whew!).  

This brings me to the point I want to make, that from the 3/4 Moon this Thursday all the way through to the New Moon on the 17th everything will be blowing up, falling apart, and chaos will reign as she signals some final endings prior to the new beginning.  And even the new beginning, like many births, may well be painful and bloody with the concentration of energy remaining in Aries.

However, THAT IS THE WORLD PICTURE THAT WE DON'T NEED TO BUY INTO, FOLLOW, STRESS ABOUT, AND FEAR.  Our job during all of this is to Saturnly keep our composure, discipline ourselves, our instincts, our emotions, and our actions to respond maturely rather than react, and go about our business, as warriors that will guard, protect, and proceed in spite of hostile opposition, oppression, news, or fear.  This is a great initiation and we will all be tested to our core.  We can do this!  Advanced initiates will continue to love, laugh, create, and build, perhaps with greater determination then before.  May the force be with you!

While we live in a dualistic, polarized world where soul evolution occurs through counterpoint awareness, the further away from the extremes we can remain the healthier we will be.  The extremes are only necessary when we don't "get it" from the lesser extremes, and they are more dangerous.  The less conscious we are, the more extreme our life experiences will be as the intensity of the extreme is needed to wake us up.  Unfortunately, we can see this playing out on the world stage as our extremely ignorant world leaders are creating extreme suffering for the masses.

Hence, the thumbnail for today is "rock and water," fixed and flowing, hard and delicate, masculine and feminine.  Together, when in peace, they create great beauty.  Their differences accentuate each other as the contrast enhances the scene.  We are both rock and water, masculine and feminine, selfish and giving, childish and mature, narcissistic and empathic.  These different facets of our psyche can enhance each other and create a colorful personality that is well rounded and expansive.  

However, too many rocks can dam the water or, vice versa, flooding water can destroy rock structures.  Libra wants to bring everything into balance and she will use this pink full Moon to help us see clearly, through other's eyes, where we are off balance and leaning more into one extreme or another.  Let's take this weekend as an opportunity to let our relationships help us grow more aware of ourselves and each other that our love may grow deeper, stronger, and vital.  Blessing on your love!
