Today’s word of the day is ‘stale’ as in stale bread as in unripe as in moldy as in sitting around too long as in the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros both found themselves down early in their games. The Braves tried to make a comeback against the Phillies but fell a run short. The Astros needed a historic blast from Yordan Alvarez to walk-off against the Mariners.
