We are in a series called: on the goodness of work. We have been digging in Genesis to understand better the world of work, but then we confront that seventh day where God rested. Are work and rest opposites? Enemies? Or is there a deep union between the two? It seems that the Creator God built a divine rhythm into creation where there is movement, action, projects, and work to be done for six days, and then there is a day of rest, celebration, savoring, and delight. What is the Sabbath? Is this ancient rhythm still useful for us moderns? Join us as we begin to shift from exploring work to encountering Sabbath and rest. Our study this week is called: the art of Sabbath.
