Atacama Copper is a copper exploration and development company with two copper exploration projects located in Chile, comprising eight high-conviction targets across three tenement packages in well know mining districts.

The company is primarily focused on Placeton’s four identified targets, located directly between Teck/Newmont’s NuevaUnión (Relincho and El Morro Deposits). The El Cofre project is located 700 km north of Santiago in the San Juan mining district (central Chile’s cobalt belt) comprising more than 6,228 ha of exploitation claims, in an historic cobalt-copper producing area but relatively untested for medium size-scale copper-gold potential.
