Then, Dom welcomes back Angela Reading, a mother and former member of the Northern Burlington Board of Education, onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss updates in her story since she last joined our show to tell us about an online controversy that lead to some real life implications. Back in December, after attending a District Family Math Night, Reading wrote on Facebook some concerns she had regarding posters displayed in school hallways supporting with questionable commentary about sexuality. After the post, a military official responded with a threat to involve the military, which has led to multiple exchanges now between Reading, the school district, and the federal government. Reading updates how things have gone since the post and controversy went viral, and tells about new representation she’s employed to push back against an alleged overstepping of justice.
